Wet n Wild MegaLast Lipstick in Just Peachy

Hello beauties!

The weather's been gloomy the whole week but my makeup has been just peachy! Haha! I've been wearing mostly peach makeup to brighten my look in a gloomy day. I'm using this lippie from Wet n Wild, which I'll share a swatch of on this post.

Wet n Wild MegaLast Lipstick in Just Peachy

I bought this from BeautyMNL for Php 269.00 (orig. price was Php 299.00).

I love peach. In fact, my favorite color, Salmon pink, is pretty close to peach so I own so many peach stuff, especially makeup. I bought this because I wanted a matte peach lippie and this is just that!

Product info from the website:

- 4-hour longwearing lip colors leave a semi-matte cream finish
- Hyaluronic Microspheres adhere to lips to make them long-lasting
- An exclusive polymer complex make your lips cushiony and plump
- Natural marine plant extracts coenzyme Q10 and vitamins A & E help smooth lips

This is basically our Magnum Opus of lipstick—it’s the one thing we absolutely MUST put on when we’ve got a cocktail party or black tie event. This 4-hour, longwearing lip color leaves a semi-matte cream finish in one stroke. Glides on easily with rich, velvety color that doesn’t cake, feather, or bleed. Made with hydrating skin-care ingredients: Hyaluronic Microspheres provide extraordinary adhesion to lips, an exclusive polymer complex offers cushion-like feel and texture, and natural marine plant extracts coenzyme Q10 and vitamins A & E help smooth lips.

The tube of the lipstick is very simple. I appreciate that the cap is clear so you can see the shade of the lipstick, but I have to say that this is toooo simple for me. :P

The MegaLast lipstick range from the brand is not new to me since I had owned a different shade (Mauve Outta Here) before.

Just Peachy is, as what its name states, just peachy. See swatches below:

on hand

on lips

It looks warm but with fluorescent lighting, the shade seems cooler. I think the shade is really good, especially for day makeup. The finish is not completely matte. It actually has some shine (but you can blot it with tissue if you want a complete matte finish).

As usual, this matte lipstick is still drying when worn. It also emphasizes the dry areas of the lips so I recommend wearing lip balms and try to gently exfoliate lips before wearing this lipstick.

So what are your thoughts on the Wet n Wild MegaLast Lipstick in Just Peachy?

Cheers,
DAWN

  1. Have it in Bare it All! Definitely more of a cream finish and it does cling to flaky lips! Hate the cap too! Haha Great colours though overall.

    1. True, it's not as matte like the ones from NARS, MAC, or even the liquid lipsticks. And I agree that I do like their color range so I still think that purchasing it is a good deal.

  2. It's been awhile since I've used a WnW lipstick. The shade looks like something you'd wear for an everyday look or pang-office look na non-intimidating. But currently I've been kind of wanting to give in to the matte lip cream trend. xD

    1. Yes. I usually use this at work. :D
I also like using liquid matte lippies. I love the solid color and that they are long lasting. :)
