Holika Holika Smooth Egg Soaps
Hey guys!
Just got back from a four-day vacation at Jeju Island, South Korea. I had such a great time there, especially since we got there while the cherry blossoms were in full bloom! Anyway, I will just share the details about our short vacation on a future post.
For today, I'll share some products that is perfect for the coming Easter which is only three days away!
Holika Holika Smooth Egg Soaps
I was given a set a few days ago and just found them absolutely adorable! Egg shaped soaps with an egg container as packaging? Really smart and cute!
These soaps come in four colors and each have a different set and specializes on a specific skin benefit. Check out the guide below to see what they are all about.
And more info from the website:
The set that I got contains all four kinds.
I think all four benefits are needed by my skin so I alternate the use of them from time to time depending on the condition of my skin. If I need more hydration, I'll reach out for the green one, if my skin is just too oily lately, I'll grab the black one!
But if you want to try only one type of egg, you can buy a couple and they are still housed in those cute egg containers!
And by the way, these soaps are handmade and they smell super amazing. Once I opened the wrappers, you can smell them just by getting near them.
I have been using the Charcoal one more often than the others because my skin is oilier because of the recent high temperature. After washing my face, it feels like my skin is very clean and the excess sebum is gone! I can't really say if it has helped get rid of my skin troubles like pimples and blackheads since I've only been using it for a week but so far, I haven't had any breakouts. :D
I have yet to discover how effective each soap is but that would take a while to do. I just want to blog about these because this would be great presents for the coming Easter event. Who said only kids get to do those Easter egg hunting? Kikay girls can hunt for eggs too and feel and look good using them!
And what makes things more fun is that you can get a free Jelly Cleansing Puff when you avail these eggs! For a purchase of any egg soap product (whether 2-pc, or 4-pc), you'll get a free Jelly Cleansing Puff (SRP Php 165.00) until supplies last.
I'm a fan of these sponges. I've tried one before and what I like about them is that they are soft and they are gentle on the skin. It's perfect to pair with the soaps. You don't have to directly touch the soap to your face, just rub the soap on the jelly sponge, let it foam up and then massage on skin. Great combo so I recommend you try this out.
A box of four is Php 815.00 while a box of two is Php 435.00 only. If you're interested to know more about the products, the promo, or other info regarding Holika Holika, visit their Facebook page or Twitter or follow their Instagram account: @HOLIKAHOLIKAPH
What do you think of the Smooth Egg Soaps? Which variant are you most interested in?

Missha The Style Eyeliner Pencil in White
Hey dearies!
I was supposed to post a review on a BB Cream today but I got home late so we'll just have to settle with a swatch post again. :P
Missha The Style Eyeliner Pencil in White
Bought this some months ago at their branch in SM North. Unfortunately, I can't remember how much it is. I'm guessing it's around Php 200?
Some info from the website:
01 Features |
The Style Eyeliner Pencil - Pencil type eyeliner, easy to use even for beginner. - Soft, creamy and long lasting - Softly glides on the sensitive eye area without irritation, smudging and smearing. Color: Black, Brown, White |
02 Ingredients- Botanical ingredients: wrinkle prevention and skin protection from lipoper odixation and extreme skin sensitivity. |
03 How To Use | |
|
This is the pencil
swatch on hand
It's pigmented and matte. I did that in just one stroke.
Used it to line my inner rim.
I just learned recently that it is better not to line the entire rim like I did in the pic. Just line middle area covering two-thirds of the rim.
The staying power is pretty decent. It can stay on my inner rims for 2-3 hours. I haven't used it on my lids yet (I find white lines on the lids awkward) so I can't say much about that.
That's that I guess... There's nothing too special with this product. It functions well but I know there are other pencils of the same quality that are much affordable.
Have you tried Missha's The Style Eyeliner Pencil?

Review: Wet n Wild Color Icon Eye Liner
Hello lovelies!
Sharing with you two of my pencil liners that I've been using a lot lately.
Wet n Wild Color Icon Eye Liner
in White and Amethyst
in White and Amethyst
What the product says:
And it's available in 15 shades!
I first bought the white one since I want a matte finish white liner for creating a doe-eyed look or if I just want to make my eyes appear bigger or less stressed-looking. :P
I began liking it since it's so pigmented and lasts pretty decently. Plus! It's very affordable at Php119.00 at Watsons Beauty Section.

Here's a swatch on my hand
I usually use Amethyst when I use purple eye shadows

I smudge it around my eyes.
It's pretty hard smudging it. It's not as creamy compared to the more high-end eye liners like UD's.

But I still love the White one.
I like it's finish at my waterline making my eyes appear bigger.
