Let's start with the darkest color, Mannequin

Comments: I love shimmer eye shadow that have very fine glitters/shimmer and this is one of them. The color is not too dark when you apply it and is build-able. It's easy to blend as well.

Next is the midtone, Kitten heel.

Comments: Same comment as above, although the color is too thin. I don't really see how much of a difference even after a second application. The color may improve if there was a lid primer but since I don't have that now, I cannot attest to it. I think this color will be better for those with fairer skin tone.

Comments: This color is the farthest from the one posted in their website. I am not a big fan of it though because after I applied it since it hardly showed. It would be a good base. It may be a great eye shadow for when you're trying a pin-up girl look.

Here's the swatch of the color on my arm, and since the back part of my forearm is lighter than my lids, I guess I am right with Kitten Heel looking better on a person with fairer skin.

Here's the swatch on paper.

I super love this packaging. It's super convenient, you just slide the cover and you're ready to go.

So what do you think of these colors? Share your thoughts and comments below regarding this product.

Lancome Color Design Pop Cherub Eyeshadow Palette in Sweetie Pie

Hello dears!

Sharing a quick swatch post about this palette that was given to me by my former teacher in college...

Lancome Color Design Pop Cherub Eyeshadow Palette in Sweetie Pie

I was so excited when I received this because I've only tried a few Lancome products and I'm also a big fan of eyeshadows.

And I'm also loving the packaging of this palette...

It looks so cute and romantic!

The little cherub is also a nice touch!

I'm not sure when this product was released nor what collection it's from though. But anyway, the colors are really nice. It's equipped with bright, fun colors and also dark neutral ones for contour.

So it's equipped with 5 shades—Dreamworld, Personal Style, Pixie, Twilight and Lezard.

A closeup of the palette

And the swatches

Definitely loving Personal Style and Pixie! I find this palette very easy to blend together and I can create various looks with this selection. Pigmentation is awesome and staying power is good especially with an eyeshadow primer.

Will try to create some EOTD's with this palette! :D

Cheers,
DAWN

Lancome:Color Design and Blush Subtil

Good evening ladies,

Here's a quick swatch post on Lancome's 2 Color Design eye shadows and 1 Blush Subtil.

These three share the same design and is quite sophisticated looking.

There's no accompanying brush with these three. I originally put them together thinking that they were part of a collection set but then again, I realized they weren't/ Anyway... here's the swatch post for the eye shadows.

From UL to LR: Off the Rack (Metallic), Daylight (Matte), Sultry Mauve (Matte), Ciel Du Soir (Matte)

This palette is perfect for a girly day out look. I'm not as happy with the mattes in this palette as they do not color as much but I was pretty excited with Off the Rack. It has a little bluish tinge to it and that got me all fuzzy inside. I guess this would be perfect for the dusted on eye shadow look. Moving on.

From UL to LR: Drape (Sheen), Style Section (Metallic), The New Black (Metallic), Ciel Du Soir (Matte)

Obviously, this would be perfect for night outs and smokey eye make ups. The colors here are more pigmented than the first but still falls short in comparison to other eye shadows. This is a gift to my mom and I guess it's perfect for someone like her who wants to add just a little touch of color. It is build-able so she can adjust it to the intensity she wants. Also, the glitter does not go all over the face so it's quite a clean application.

This is quite a lovely color though you do need to build it up as you go, or else you won't appreciate it as much.

Well, that's it for this quick post. Sorry that it's so short. Will try to do an FOTD using these products soon.

Cheers,
LIZ
