NOTD: Girl on Fire

Hello loves!

A few days ago, I saw one post from Caronia Philippines' Facebook account that shows a nail art challenge. This contest has been on-going for months now as a celebration of the brand's 50th anniversary in the beauty industry.

The nail art challenge is open to everyone who uses the classic Caronia Nail Polishes. The rules are easy to follow too. Caronia just uploads a nail art design each week and you recreate it. They even recommended the shades used in the design, but it's okay to not use the particular shade and even mix your own creative twists in the design as long as it's still related to the week's theme. You can only use all Caronia products though, which is just fair since it is their contest. They announce the winner of that particular week's challenge after a few days and they also have a new design again for others to join and get a chance to win. I think they do it weekly and there have been a handful or more winners already.

So when I saw this design—Girl on Fire, I thought it was easy enough for me to copy. The other designs were just too hard! Haha! Anyway, I think that this week's design is so feisty too that I was just attracted to it. Good thing I have enough Caronia nail polishes to join the contest.

So here's my entry...

It's bright and warm just like the current summer season that just started.

Below are the shades I used.

These aren't the recommended shades, except for the "Sweet Surprise," but I think it was good enough. I wanted a bit of metallic finish for my NOTD.

So what do you think? Do you think I succeeded in creating this fiery look for my nails?
The winners haven't been announced as of writing this blog entry. Still hoping I win! Haha!

If you want to join this week's challenge, or future challenge, you can visit Caronia's Instagram or Facebook pages. :)
