MAC Amplified Lipstick in Petals and Peacock

Hey loves!

Sharing another swatch post about one of the preloved items my sister gave me. It's an old product but I just think it looks really pretty, especially the package design, that's why I want to blog about it still.

MAC Amplified Lipstick in Petals and Peacock

This was my sister's so I dunno when she bought this exactly. This is included in the Give Me Liberty of London collection which is a Limited Edition one.

As mentioned before, the package design is really beautiful. I think it's one of my favorite lipstick tube designs that I have in my collection.

But I equally love the color of this lipstick. I feel like this color would look nice in most skin tones whether you're tanned or fair-skinned.

The bright, cool-toned lipstick can look flashy and intimidating to those who prefer simple looks, but when worn, I think you'll just fall in-love with it like I did!

It's very pigmented and buildable. I like wearing it very opaque like this color below...

It's just gorgeous! I love how intense the color is, but if you find this too bold, you can tone it down by blotting and it still looks great. It leaves a light stain so your lips will still have color after a while.

The staying power is awesome, it can stay on even after I eat, but of course, reapplication on the inner areas of the lips is still necessary so they would look all pink and gorgeous again.

Super thanks to my sister for letting me have this product! Haha! So what are your thoughts on this lippie? :)

Cheers,
DAWN

  1. OMG...this lipstick is basically everything I love in a bold lipstick. You see, because my lips are so sensitive and peel and get dry so easily I don't wear lipsticks very often but when I do, I LOVE and usually always go for a pink like this! It's so gorgeous on you!

    1. Thanks! I think you will like this a lot because this doesn't dry my lips as much as when I wear the bold matte lippies from MAC! This is a good mix of bold color but still non-drying!
