FOTD : Steel Raspberry

Hello loves!

Here's my FOTD last Saturday when I went out to buy some stuff for my upcoming birthday celebration... I'm trying to make it extra special because it will be my first time spending my own hard-earned money for my birthday.

More on that later... I still have more than two weeks left to prepare. Getting so excited here!

Anyway, this is what I looked like:

I used two of my newest makeup which were gifts from The Body Shop.

I got the name of this FOTD from the two products' names. 

These are the eyeshadows I used:

The Body Shop Colour Crush in Steel My Heart

Sephora Eyeshadow in Starry Sky

Here's how I blended them together.

And below's the finished look with the eyeliners and mascara:

Used Majolca Majorca Lash King, Coffret D'Or Gel Liner and Wet 'N Wild ColorIcon Eyeliner in White. For my brows, I used KATE Brow Mascara. :)

And if you've noticed, my skin is quite "poreless," don't you agree?

I used one of my favorite primers, Coffret D'or Magicalflat Concealer. I'll do a review on that soon.

Used a MAC Studio Fix Liquid Foundation in NC25 and L.A. Colors Loose Powder in Light on my skin. My blush is T'estimo Blush in PK-18 but it's quite faint. And I also used Guerlain Terracotta Moisturizing Bronzing Powder in no. 10 for contouring.

Last Friday I got this lipstick from The Body Shop...

This is one of their new products. It's been available since August this year.

I was very excited to try it out because I saw some ads from The Body Shop's Facebook page regarding these new lippies. 

Anyway, along with the lippie was their press release...

So this is the shade I got...

It does smell terrific and it's very creamy and silky!

I'm so curious to see the other 23 colors, especially the nude ones. I'm loving the hot fuchsia of the particular shade I got and I'm thinking of trying out the other ones too.

I super love how pigmented this is. In just one swatch, BOOM, hello bold fuchsia!

I love the finish of this lipstick. The color is vibrant. It's long lasting as well. This shade lasted on me for 5 hours even after eating. Though usually the really bold and dark ones tend to be long-lasting so I'm not so sure about the nude or lighter shades.

Oh, if you want to have a matte effect, just blot the lippie by patting a tissue lightly then re-apply and then pat again. :)

 I'm sure the new collection will have a counterpart of your favorite Colourglide lipstick. :)
