Too Cool For School Art Class Blusher in No. 2 Peach

Hey loves!

I was supposed to make a very long review post on some products from one brand but I want to catch up with some TV series (haha!) so for now I'll share a quick post about this product from Too Cool For School...

Too Cool For School Art Class Blusher
A tube is worth Php 435.00.

I don't really buy cream blushers because of my oily skin but this is actually a gift from a former professor. She's gonna get married soon and she asked me to do an artwork for her and her soon-to-be husband. I made her one as a wedding gift but she still gave me a kikay gift which included this product.

The shade she gave me is No. 2 Peach. It also comes in another shade, No.1 Pink.

Since the labels on the packaging (which looks really good btw) is not in english, I went to one of their websites for product info:

I apply this using my fingers... I personally think the finish look better that way rather than when I use my makeup brushes. It just makes the blush look more natural.

Here's a swatch on my hand:

When mildly blended:

It's a very subtle, matte peach. The texture is very soft and application is very easy. The shade is very light so you might need to build up the color if you don't have fair skin. I had to put about a small pea size on each cheek so that the color is visible on my cheeks.

Here's me wearing the blush:

It really looks so natural on the cheeks! It also brightens the face!

It's subtle so you don't have to worry about looking like you got too much product on because even if you did, it wouldn't look like it! It would still look natural! Nice, eh?

Unfortunately, it doesn't last too long on my oily skin... probably a good 3-4 hours before it fades out... But I could always just reapply. :)

So what are your thoughts on Too Cool For School's Art Class Blusher? Do you wear cream blushes too?

Cheers,

Nature Republic Shine Blossom Rose Blusher in Baby Rose

Hello lovelies!

If I've been asked which makeup product I do not prioritize the most, I would probably say blushes. It's because I usually wear bold eye makeup or bold lipstick that I need my blush to be subtle so that I don't look... errr... drag-ish? Anyway, I think I only need 5 colors of blushes—light pink, medium, cool-toned pink, peachy pink, nude or old rose, and a really nice peach shade. All of these I prefer either matte or very minimal shimmer and I'm all good!

If you've seen my hauls, I probably bought only a handful of blushes in the past two years (the others I own were gifts or blushes given by my sister). The latest of the few is this one that I bought just a month ago...

Nature Republic Shine Blossom Rose Blusher in Baby Rose
Bought this for Php 375.00.

I bought this because I realized I didn't have a nice matte-ish peach blush in my stash. All of my peach ones are shimmery which doesn't look nice on my cheeks especially when I begin to oil up.

So before I show you the swatches, here are the labels on the box:

And here's the cute, tin can packaging:

I find it super cute but a bit bulky in my vanity bag. i prefer thin ones and with mirrors. :P

The puff is really cute too with the purple and peach bow design...
But I don't really use it because I prefer applying powdered blushes with brushes. Plus, I think this is hard to clean and might get deformed after some washing.

And here's the blush!!!

A really soft, light peach! Gorgeous!
It also smells soooo good. It has a mild, rosy scent that I'm so digging. I don't mind my makeup scented as long as I like how it smells and the rose scent is one of my favorite.

A swatch on my arm

It may look powdery but that's because that is a very thick swatch so that you can see the color. I have used many blushes who are much powdery than this.

So let's see the blush in action. Here are pictures of me wearing it...

Simple, subtle and brightening! I love how it makes my cheek look glowing. I like using this especially if I'm just going to work. I also pair this with smoky eye looks. I'm glad that I bought this because I wasn't really planning on buying a blush when I saw this. And it's affordable too so it really is a great purchase!

So what are your thoughts on Nature Republic's Shine Blossom Rose Blusher in Baby Rose? Would you wear a blush shade like this? Are you a fan of blushes or are you just like me? :)

Avon Ideal Luminous Blush in Peach

Hello dears!

Here's another product I got from my special edition Avon Glamourbox

Avon Ideal Luminous Blush in Peach
6.23g
Php 370.00.

Some info from Glamourbox :

The silky-smooth blush has a natural luminous finish that lasts for hours. Its buildable skin-enhancing shades go from soft and sheer to a perfect pop of radiant color.

More info at the back of the box:

I'm not much of a fan of the packaging design-wise. I love that the compact has a mirror and an applicator.

Though the applicator is no good because it's rough.

Here's a closeup pic of the blush:

And the swatches:

on my arm

on my cheeks

The blush really is buildable. I just like my blush subtle since I like wearing bold eyecolors and lipsticks. I really love the shade. It makes my cheek look glowing with the peach shade and subtle shimmers.

I don't find this long-lasting though. It doesn't stay long on my oily skin. It's still visible for the first 3-4 hours... But maybe if I add more color, it would make a difference with the staying power.

Well, I guess that's all that I can say for this product.
Would you try this blush? Do you like peach shades too?

Cheers,
