MAC Lustre Lipstick in Plumful

Hey guys!

My mom received a MAC lipstick as a Christmas gift. And because I'm a kikay daughter, I just had to swatch and try it out! And of course, I will be sharing a swatch post. :D

And the shade is Plumful.

This color is just perfect for my mom so kudos to the person who gifted this to her (I believe it's one of her goddaughters). 

My mom loves plum shades for her lippies and this particular one is not too bold but still gives her lips the beautiful plum coverage to brighten her face. It really is something that my mom would wear.

As for me, I like it too if I'm going for a simple, feminine look.

The color is so pretty! :D

This is a lustre lipstick, meaning it has a semi-gloss finish. I like my lippies matte but since  this is my mom's, I think it works great on her. Mattes make her lips appear smaller and dehydrated because of her age, so having a little shine on her lips gives a fuller finish.

MAC Lustre Eye Shadow in Lustreleaf

Hi everyone!

Just a quick swatch post again for today.

I was actually gonna make this post for yesterday but I was so tired from our quick get together with some of my college friends yesterday. I literally fell asleep while I was in the middle of typing the content on this post. Haha! :P

Anyway, today I will provide you a swatch on one of the items Liz received from her aunt in Canada...

The eyeshadow is a shimmery, cool shade of green.

And here's the swatch!

It's actually a pretty safe green color that you can use in an everyday makeup provided you don't apply it in a large area of your eyelid (like up to your brow bone, LOL).

Like every other MAC eye shadow, it's very pigmented and has a long staying-power. Especially with a nice eye shadow primer. :P

MAC Lustre Lipstick in Lazy Day

 Hi Lovelies!

Been a very, very lazy day for me. All I did all day was sleep and browse the internet.

The only productive thing I did was cook Spaghetti.. Haha.. That doesn't even require too much effort.

Since I'm still very lazy, I will just do a swatch post for today (I promise to make more makeup reviews soon). What better way to do a lazy post than to make a one about a lipstick called 'Lazy Day'? Haha!

I just love the shell print on the tube!

It has a soft, cool pink shade. 

And here are pictures of my bare lips and when the product is applied:

 It makes my lips pale pink. I usually wear it when I have dramatic eyes to balance my look. :P

 Hi dears!

 Liz and I have prepared quite a number of swatch posts on lipsticks.

 I believe this shade has been discontinued, unfortunately. :(

Quite ironic too. :P

It's in the MAC's classic, black tube. 

 The color is kind of a warm plum... close to maroon but not quite. :P

And here's how it looks on me... I have a weird goofy smile there. Sorry... I actually just realized it now while typing that it's quite disturbing when I stare at it too long. LOL

I like the color. It's dark but wearable. It's a color that I can even wear smokey eyes with. And it makes me look fairer. :P
