Review : Ciracle Absolute Deep Cleansing Oil

Hello dearies!

As much as I love applying makeup, removing it after a long day is a must. Never... and I mean NEVER sleep with your makeup on. Let your skin breathe and give it a rest as much as you can. If you wear makeup as much as I do every week, then a great makeup remover is a must in your skincare routine.

The one I'm currently using, and absolutely loving is the...

Ciracle Absolute Deep Cleansing Oil
This costs PhP 1,390.00.

This bottle was sent to me for review and I'm so glad that it was because I finally discovered a cleansing oil that is really good and is within my budget. I'll share a more detailed review on why I say these later on this post, but first, let's get to know the product from the descriptions...

Well, I can't understand what's written on the label so I took some info from the website instead:

Ciracle Absolute Deep Cleansing Oil is a light and non-sticky facial oil cleanser that is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. The Absolute Deep Cleansing Oil formula uses mineral oil, as well as plant and seed oil extracts from Camellia Sinensis, otherwise known as Green Tea. Green Tea provides the skin with essential anti-oxidant and UV-protection. Easy to wash off and non-sticky, your skin should feel moist and healthy after each cleanse.
Properties of Absolute Deep Cleansing Oil
  • Washes away light to heavy make-up, including waterproof mascara, eye and lip makeup
  • Removes sebum from pores
  • Helps to tighten enlarged pores
  • Maintains moisture in the skin
Directions
1. Pump deep cleansing oil 2-3 times onto dry hands.
2. Gently pat all over dry face.
3. Put a little water on your fingers and massage your skin gently to remove makeup residues.
4. Wash off with warm water.

Ingredients:
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Isopropyl Myristate, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate, Mineral Oil, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Tocopheryl Acetate, BHT, Fragrance

And now for my review!

First off, the packaging. It's really, really simple. I like that it's in a pump bottle because dispensing the oil is easier and you can control it better. I like that it's also clear and doesn't contain so much designs. It looks classy-minimalist. I don't recommend taking the pump with you when you travel because some minor leaking may occur. Better to transfer some in a small bottle instead.

As for the product itself, the oil is not thick and whenever I massage it on my skin, it doesn't feel suffocating unlike some oils I've used before that are just too thick and sticky that I feel like my skin can't breathe. It has a mild pleasant scent but I can't really point out exactly what it is... but you can barely smell it unless you place it under your nose.

But how effective is it in removing your makeup?
See how it performs on my waterproof makeup...

With just one swipe of the oil, look how it easily removed the products... well, the Dolly Wink one stayed better than the rest. ;)

But just massage the oil and wipe with tissue, everything's gone!

Whenever I remove my makeup, I don't have to rub my skin hard. I just use 1-2 pumps and just massage gently around a minute and wipe everything off. It takes care of everything! And you know what I like best when I use this? It's the fact that it doesn't sting my eyes when I remove my eye makeup! AWESOME! It makes removing waterproof eye makeup so much easier and no stingy and painful experience. I love it!

After I remove my makeup, I wash my face with a cleanser/facial foam. And after that, I use my toner. Whenever I apply the toner, I don't get any makeup residue on the pad anymore so I can easily say that this cleansing oil really did a good job in removing the majority, if not all, of my makeup.

So to sum up my review:

What I LIKE:
- Easily removes makeup (even waterproof ones)
- One-two pump/s will do for me so a 150ml will last long
- Does not sting my eyes
- Mild scent
- Not sticky and not thick
- Price is within my budget
- Packaging
- Locally available

What I DO NOT LIKE:
- Well, the pump bottle is not travel friendly but you can just transfer some in a different bottle when you travel. :)

Would I buy it again? I think I will! I really like it! It can easily become an HG product for me. So yeah, I also definitely recommend that you try it out.

And that is my review of the Ciracle Absolute Deep Cleansing Oil. If you're interested to learn more about Ciracle, you can visit their website and Facebook Page. :)

If you have comments and suggestions/recommendations on good cleansing oils, please do let me know in the comments section. ;)

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil

Hey guys!

Received this new product from The Body Shop a couple of weeks ago. I was actually surprised to see it when I got home since I wasn't expecting any package.

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil
It's Php 695.00 a bottle.
It's one of the products in The Body Shop's newest product line:

I was happy to see something new from the brand. Since I like wearing heavy coverage makeup, I was excited to see that it was a cleansing oil. I find cleansing oils the best in removing thick makeup. What got me more excited is it smells so great!! It's probably the best smelling cleansing oil I've tried.

It's clear and not as thick as other oils too. It doesn't feel greasy when I apply it on my face.

Once wiped, it doesn't feel sticky too. Although I usually wash my face with a facial cleanser as soon as I take this off.

I think it works great. It does remove makeup effectively. You may need to be a little more patient with waterproof eye makeup though but it's very mild that it doesn't sting the eyes. They do have a separate product that specializes on eye makeup anyway.

I super like this cleansing oil. Because of this, I'm curious to try the other products included in the Camomile Line, especially the cleansing butter!

What do you think of the new cleansing oil? How about the new Camomile line? Which one would you like to try?

Cheers,

Review: Human Nature Sunflower Cleansing Oil

Hello guys!

A month ago I made a haul post about what I bought when I was in Trinoma. Most of you requested a review about...

Human Nature Sunflower Cleansing Oil

I know it took us quite a while to make one so I apologize for that.

Anyway, what made me buy this was because I've been looking for cleansing oils that can serve as makeup removers. I just can't get to love those cheaper makeup removers with a mixture of blue and colorless liquid (I don't know what they are called. Haha!) because they aren't enough (for the ones I've tried) to remove the makeup on my face. I usually wear full makeup from heavy coverage foundations to waterproof mascaras.

I just stumbled on this one by accident. I was looking for masks and was led to the Human Nature products. I have heard of the brand from various blogs but I've never tried them. I am in the process of finishing some of my facial washes and cleansers that's why I rarely go to that section but when I saw this, it reminded me of the makeup remover from Fasio that my sister and I used to have. It was one of the best I've tried so I wanted to try this one too.

It's very affordable compared to some makeup removers so I immediately added it to my shopping cart.

Here are some information at the back of the bottle:

Since it's from Human Nature, it's all natural as they claim their products to be. It also has no parabens.

Here's some product description from the website:

Product Description
100% Natural

Take it all off with our premium cleansing oil. It gently erases all traces of makeup, even the most stubborn waterproof mascara! Just apply on your face and wipe off. It works double-time too – whereas most cleansing oils and make-up removers are packed with chemicals that strip your skin, ours is a naturally healthy oil which actually conditions your lashes and nourishes your skin.

Did you know: Mineral oil, commonly used in personal care products, can actually clog pores. It works by sitting on the skin’s surface, thus blocking pores and impeding the skin’s ability to release toxins. It also dries skin and speeds up premature skin-ageing.

I like that it is in a pump-bottle. It's easy to get the product and more hygienic.
It doesn't have any annoying smell. It actually has a mild sweet smell.
Liz also noticed that it isn't greasy on the skin.

Here's some of the products that are hard to remove by ordinary washing.

I applied them on my hand and will remove them using Human Nature Sunflower Cleansing Oil.

Bluuuured. But anyway, I just added a pump of the product.

I massaged them thoroughly. I also added a few drops of water to make it feel less thick. :P

And after wiping it off with tissue, here's the result!
It removed the annoying-to-remove waterproof mascara from Max Factor but didn't completely remove Bourjois' liquid mascara and MUFE's waterproof liner.

It does remove my heavy foundations but the waterproof products would take a lot of rubbing to completely take off. Might need to wash your face a few more times or use a facial cleansing tissue like I do.

Overall, it is a pretty decent product. Not the best I've tried but it does the job well. And it is VERY affordable! It also doesn't cause me break outs and doesn't dry my skin. I honestly really like it.

Would I buy again? Most probably. Unless I find another that is also affordable and works just as well. :)

Have you tried this? Do you like other products from Human Nature? Do you know any cleansing oils that are affordable and a must-try?

Cheers!
