Oblique

My bestfriend, Liz, and I had a little experiment. I wanted to do some creative makeup once again. We decided to make a look that was inspired from an artwork. As I was browsing some of my art books, I bumped into a page that featured this painting:

Oblique Progression by Irene Rice Pereira

 Makeups used:
Dollface Cosmetics 88 eyeshadow palette
E.L.F. Cream Liner (Black)
Maybelline the Magnum Volum' Express Mascara
Prestige My Little Black Book Eye Lip and Face Palette
4u2 Dream Girl Uptown Girl Liquid eye liner
Covergirl Foundation Clean Makeup in Buff Beige
Ever Bilena Mousse Concealer in Pure Beige
Sue Devitt Studio Loose Powder in Great Sandy Desert
The Body Shop Roseflower Blush
Chanel Lipgloss in Magnifique

The makeup was difficult to apply since I'm trying to make it look as vibrant as possible. Although I feel like I did a pretty good job. :P

I hope you like what I did!

Cheers,
Dawn

Self-portrait in Oil Paint

Our final plate in our Life Painting Subject is to create your self-portrait in any style of painting you want. I went with the style I'm very familiar with which is in between realistic and impressionistic.

This is my second time using oil paint. This is the medium I've been dying to learn since I was in my first year in Fine Arts!

Sorry for the reflection. It was framed with a glass cover. :P

Hope you all like it!

Cheers,

More Practice on Creative Makeup :P

Did the makeup for the photoshoot of our collection, The House of Dramatic Deception, for the Cirq Regal Fashion Show Souvenir Program. I had to do it as fast as I can since I had to do the makeup for around ten models. :P

This is Mariane. She was one of the models who wore my designs during the Cirq Regal Fashion Show.

Unfortunately, the makeup is not as vibrant and colorful in the photos for the program compared to the pictures taken by Mariane of herself from her cam. :(

Here are some of the people I get the chance to put makeup on:

AJ wore my other design too. :P

Dianne wearing a design by Ezra Capunitan.

Aya wearing our collection's Avant Garde. Design by Tatie Aquino.

Strawberry Nails!

It's been almost a month since I had nail polish on so I've been planning to put some on my nails since this morning.

While I was checking facebook, I watched this video (by bubzbeauty) that was shared by a former classmate. I thought it's so cute and that I have to try it out for myself!

Good thing that we have some nail polishes in stock that is close to the colors used in the video. :P

My nails are so cute, don't you think so too?
