Red Lipstick

Did another Photography plate and this time I had to do a product ad. The product I chose is a lipstick and I asked my sister, Tracy, to be my model. Even though she was exhausted with her thesis defense (the shoot transpired a few days after her defense), I got her to model for me --I bribed her with having a cute profile pic for her FB! haha.

 Here's the lipstick my sister used during the shoot -- Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Wine with Everything (no. 525).

I actually got a good grade on this plate! Many thanks to my beautiful sister for being so cooperative.

I take on Neysa!

Classes are finally over for this school year so some of my classmates went at our house to celebrate. They also asked me to do a makeover on our dear friend, Neysa. :)

My bestfriend, Liz, and I had a little experiment. I wanted to do some creative makeup once again. We decided to make a look that was inspired from an artwork. As I was browsing some of my art books, I bumped into a page that featured this painting:

 The makeup was difficult to apply since I'm trying to make it look as vibrant as possible. Although I feel like I did a pretty good job. :P

Self-portrait in Oil Paint

Our final plate in our Life Painting Subject is to create your self-portrait in any style of painting you want. I went with the style I'm very familiar with which is in between realistic and impressionistic.

This is my second time using oil paint. This is the medium I've been dying to learn since I was in my first year in Fine Arts!

Sorry for the reflection. It was framed with a glass cover. :P

More Practice on Creative Makeup :P

Did the makeup for the photoshoot of our collection, The House of Dramatic Deception, for the Cirq Regal Fashion Show Souvenir Program. I had to do it as fast as I can since I had to do the makeup for around ten models. :P

This is Mariane. She was one of the models who wore my designs during the Cirq Regal Fashion Show.

Unfortunately, the makeup is not as vibrant and colorful in the photos for the program compared to the pictures taken by Mariane of herself from her cam. :(

Strawberry Nails!

It's been almost a month since I had nail polish on so I've been planning to put some on my nails since this morning.

While I was checking facebook, I watched this video (by bubzbeauty) that was shared by a former classmate. I thought it's so cute and that I have to try it out for myself!
