Sleek True Colour Lipstick in Barely There

I think I bought so many lip colors last 2016. Most of them are either nudes or dark shades. Actually, there was a time that I tried to limit my lippie purchases because they are darn hard to finish and I feel bad that they'll just get too old and expire, but last year was different and I have no regrets. Haha!

Anyway, here's one of the lipsticks I bought...

Sleek True Colour Lipstick in Barely There

I bought it on sale for only Php 150.00.

What attracted me to it, besides the very cheap price, is that it's nude but with a hint of peach in it.

I also love the sleek packaging! It's smaller than the usual lipstick tubes but the texture is so classy with the mix of matte and glossy design.

How To:

Step One:

Prep lips ensuring all dead skin is removed, leaving a smooth surface.

Step Two:

Apply to clean lips, building intense colour as you go.

Step Three:

Part your lips, and blot with a tissue, removing an excess from your lips.

It says it's a mix of matte and sheen. I get the pigments of a matte lipstick with a touch of sheen, and not that almost glossy-creamy finish. I really like it!

See the nude-peach thing I was telling about? It's such a lovely shade and it compliments my warm skin pretty good. It's a great everyday lipstick because of the shade and that it never made my lips appear chappy. 

It can stay a while on the lips if you won't be eating or drinking much, but just like most neutral or light shades that I have, reapplication is needed after I have lunch and such.

This is my second lipstick from Sleek (the other is Smoulder) and I love both lipsticks! I might buy again if I find a shade I like. :)

I just realized that I've been buying brown shades of lippies that look pretty much alike. Haha! This one is different since it is not matte like any of the ones I currently have.

It's actually labeled as sheer but I don't think it's any way near being sheer. Look at the swatch below. I made it in one swipe.

On my lips, it's pretty pigmented. Although I've already applied more than one coat. 

I like wearing it to work. It's the perfect fall lipstick if we have the fall season in the Philippines. I still wear it nonetheless. Haha! 

I like the creaminess of this lippie and that it's non-drying.
