Organix Moroccan Curling Perfection Defining Cream

Hey dears!

Do you have curly hair? I got my hair permed months ago and I absolutely love it! I like my hair curled because it frames my face nicely and it gives the illusion that my hair is thicker than it really is.

I've heard many people say that having permed hair is hard to maintain. I actually think the opposite. Once you get used to the routine, everything is so easy. Just find the right products to set your hair and throughout the day, you don't have to worry about your hair. It will just look awesome all day! I swear!

One of the products I can recommend is...

Organix Moroccan Curling Perfection Defining Cream
Bought this for Php 499.00.

This is a super awesome product for defining the curls of your hair. It makes your hair more tamed but still maintains the volume and softness of it. I actually prefer this over some of the hair mousses I've used because this doesn't harden your hair at all unlike when I use a mousse, if I wasn't able to distribute it evenly, usually when I'm in a hurry, some parts get hard and clumped together. With the Organix Moroccan Curling Perfection Defining Cream, my hair looks and feels soft and bouncy!

Here's how the product looks like.

I use it after I take a bath and after I towel dry my hair. I don't use a hair dryer anymore and let my hair dry naturally.

Here's my hair without any product (along with my colorful pambahay na daster LOL)
My hair looks very dull and dry.

And here's how it looks with the Organix Moroccan Curling Perfection Defining Cream.

It looks so much alive and defined!

It made my hair so much shinier too!

And it also smells really good! I can't really think of anything wrong with it. I just love it so much. I highly recommend you to try it out if you have curly or permed hair. :)

Organix Hydrating Macadamia Oil Intensive Moisture Mask

Hello awesome people!

I currently have long, permed, and colored (ombre) hair. I do love how it currently looks and I've been receiving many compliments about it. But having my hair exposed to so many chemicals made it, especially at the ends, dry and damaged. So to make my hair look better and healthier, I try to give it some deep-moisturization from hair masks every week.

I'm currently using this,

Organix Hydrating Macadamia Oil Intensive Moisture Mask
I bought this for Php 499.00 at SM Department Store.

I chose to get this because I've read some good reviews about the products from Organix and I wanted to see if they were true.

So while I was at the counter, I checked the back of the tub to get to know the product better. You'll see some product description and other important details such as the ingredients list.

Here are more info from ULTA's website:

It replenishes moisture without a heavy build-up. It is beneficial to normal, dry, and damaged hair and gives hair a tangle and frizz free finish. Macadamia oil will extend the life of color treatments. Bamboo extract helps strengthen the hair follicle and retain moisture to promote shine. Sulfate and paraben free.

After shampooing with OGX Shampoo, apply OGX Intensive Moisture Mask generously to wet hair, working through to ends. Wait 3-5 minutes (for extremely dry hair, apply, and cover with shower cap and leave in for 20 minutes). Rinse hair thoroughly. For best results use in conjunction with other OGX products.

I asked the SA too at the counter which of the Organix line would give my hair the best moisturization that won't bring down my curls and this was one of her recommendations.

So I use this after I shampoo my hair. I apply this and concentrate at the ends of my hair and leave it on for 20 minutes. While rinsing, I noticed that my curly hair detangles on its own. I was amazed with that. And once my hair dries, it feels softer and looks bouncier!

I'm impressed with this product and would certainly buy again when I finish this. It's pricier than the ones I used before but this is more effective in keeping my hair moisturized! It's worth the price, I swear!

Have you guys tried any products from Organix? I'd like to hear your thoughts about them. :)

Cheers,

September (2014) Haul—Because It's My Birth Month!

Hi dears!

Because it is my birth month, I spoiled myself by shopping all day last Saturday at SM Mall of Asia. I was the makeup artist of two of my friends who attended a cosplay event at SMX. The MIBF was also happening on that week so I also visited the booths of different bookstores and publishers. But I didn't buy any books—there were too many people and I didn't see any interesting art books.

And by the way, the stuff I bought at MOA were discounted because it was their 3-day sale last weekend. Some of the products were already at 10-20% off and you get an additional 10% off when you reach Php 1,500.00. My purchases were over that price requirement so every product here that was bought from the department store's beauty section are 10% off.

So anyway, I just wanna share with you the new stuff I got. Some of them will be reviewed on future posts. :)

72-Piece Prismacolor Colored Pencils — Php 3,000.00

I bought this last Thursday actually... This is my ultimate splurge/birthday gift to myself. I've always wanted one and I kept holding back because it is quite pricey. But I think now that I've been working my butt off at my job and at my classes at grad school, I think I deserve this. :P

And here are the stuff I bought from SM Department Store:

Heroine Make Mineral BB Loose Powder in #02 Natural—Php 695.00

I really liked the texture when I tried this out during the launch a few weeks ago. :)

PIXY  Silky Fit Lipstick in Puppy Love Satin and Pinkish Peach Satin—Php 245.00 each

Some of my blogger friends told me that the lippies from Pixy are really good so I was convinced to try it out. I even bought two!

Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish in Crazy Berry – Php 99.00

Sally Hansen Moisturizing Nail Polish Remover—Php 225.00
Sally Hansen Big Matte Top Coat—Php 395.00
And a free nail polish remover pump!

The S.A. was really nice. I was just looking at the Maybelline Color Show polishes when she approached me. I wanted to get a matte top coat but she offered that if I buy a nail polish remover, I get the pump for free. I was like, "What the heck, I'll get that too. It's my birthday anyway!" LOL

Clio Gelspresso Waterproof Pencil Gel Liner in No. 12—Php 475.00
I wanted to see if their gel pencil liner is as good as the pen eyeliner that I like so much!

Ogx (Organix) Moroccan Curling Perfection Defining Cream—Php 499.00
Ogx (Organix) Hydrating Macadamia Oil—Php 499.00

I've read really good reviews on the brand so I wanted to try it out myself. I picked variants that I think would suit my long, colored, permed hair.

Foot Treat Anti Bacterial Foot Spray in Magnolia—Php 115.00
DermAid Moisturizing Cracked Heel Cream—Php 79.00

Marionnaud Eyelash Curler Refill—Php 20+

Johnson's Baby Bath—forgot the price :P

Veet Wax Strips for Normal Skin—Php 257.50

And I also got various freebies just because my purchases amounted to Php 1k+.
A shirt, a small bag, and a sample of Vidal Sassoon Shampoo and Conditioner

I stopped by Beauty Bar as well and bought this makeup remover:
Nature by Canus All Natural Moisturizing Facial Cleansing Milk and Make-Up Remover—Php 280.00
Original price was Php 950.00.

Awesome deal, don't you think so too?

Karma Soap and Porridge (Oatmeal) Soap from Lush

I forgot the price and I've already thrown out the receipt. :P I just love the smell of these soaps so I wanted to pamper myself this month with soaps that are quite expensive for my budget. LOL

And those are my new babies! Feel free to comment below the ones you're interested on reading a review about! :)
