Liz's November - December Haul Post

Hello ladies,

It's been a while since I actually went out to shop for anything. Last year my life revolved around this routine: Hospital, Home, Hospital, Hospital, Home... and whenever I was at home, I preferred sleeping more than going out. When I finally graduated from hospital duties, it was board exams... so imagine my joy when I finally got to earn some money and spend it!

It's not that much of a splurge since I basically am spending my own hard earned money (cause it was mostly spent on food) instead of getting it from my parents. It felt quite liberating to do that. I know most of you have gone through it, but well, I want to immortalize this moment.

And so without further ado, here are my non-food/beverage purchases:

It's been near two years since I last went out wearing a good pair of wedge or heels and it was about time to buy new ones. Since I am walking most of the time to work, and I wouldn't want to wear flats 7 days a week, I decided to buy wedges. No stilettos for now as my stilettos are still good to go.

Super loved this blue wedge from UNLIMITED. They hardly feel like heels and are super comfortable to wear and walk around. I got them for a good sale price at SM Department Store.

Of course, I just had to buy something from Payless, especially when they have them on sale. I had to buy two because aside from the shoe's current discount, you get an additional 10% of if you buy two discounted shoes. So there... shoe splurge.

A workplace that's near Robinsons Ermita has its advantages, like having a Daiso shop near where you can shop all your necessities with the best deal.

But it also has its downs (kind of), like splurging on office supplies even though you know it's not really needed that much. :P

Still, perks outweigh the downsides. As you can see, whenever I run out of my necessary, HG, Laneige BB Cushion, there's always one near.

Plus the store assistant was very generous with the samples. I'm starting to feel like I'll be a regular in that stall. :)

Anyways, that's all for now. The next posts from me will hopefully be my long promised reviews from different products I have been using for the past months.

Cheers,
LIZ

Soundbites Food and Music Festival Second Year

I love 90s and 2000s OPM music and I've always hoped that they get their second wind. But from time to time we get throwbacks like this and it just sends me to the moon.

Last night, Robinsons Malls together with Philippine Star and Jam 88.3, kick started the first of 6 concerts for this year's Soundbites Food and Music Festival Throwback. This is Robinsons Malls second time launching an event like this. Last year, they opened the festival with the iconic Side A, and this year, they treat us with smooth sound of South Border with a special performance from Mr. Luke Mejares.

The event was opened by Ms. Jessica Reynoso, a finalist in The Voice Philippines season 1 under Apl.de.ap's team.

Then we moved on to the main act. South Border opened with the feel good vibe of Rainbow. They then followed with their most memorable songs like Ikaw Nga, Love of My Life, Kahit Kailan, Wherever You Are, and Sa'yo. They also treated their fans with their own rendition of Eric Gadd's Do You Believe in Me and Bruno Mar's Treasure.

Happy reunion right?

What's a festival without food right? The night's dinner was provided by Akira, Teppanyaki All-You-Can

But don't fret. There are still more concerts to come and getting a free ticket is easy. All you have to do is dine in any of the Robinsons participating restaurants in the dates specified below and redeem your wrist tags. See below picture for the complete detail or visit

It's that simple. So for all you 90s and 2000s OPM fans, this is your chance to see your favorite band live. Catch them on their specified dates and Robinsons Malls. Hope this continues until the coming years.

Also, we'd like to thank the organizers for these cool giveaways

and for this amazing bag.

Cheers,
LIZ

All About Dermcare

Hey dears!

3 weeks ago, I went to Robinsons Galleria to check out the Red Hot Sale that is happening for the whole month of August. I've visited some shops that participated and one place that offered really good deals is Dermcare.

What is Dermcare?

Here are some info I got from their press release for your information:

Honestly, I am not aware of Dermcare until that day I visited their branch at Robinsons Galleria. I can't believe that I didn't know about this for so long, it has been around for 30 years and has dozens of branches around the Philippines. One branch is even 5 minutes away from me.

And just by looking at the pictures, the interiors of their branches look beautiful and extravagant. Jazz, from their marketing team, told me that every branch looks different from the other, like they have a different theme. Here's how the one from Robinsons Galleria look like:

I'm loving the hair salon part. This is like a colorful turkish design interior if I am not mistaken. The room is very bright and the windows are really big that during night time, you'll get a good view of the city lights.

The couple's room is my favorite as stated in my previous blog about the place.

There are cozy massage beds that are side by side,

there's a sauna room,

and even a fancy tub for washing off products like when you avail the body scrubs.

If you're wondering what kind of services they provide, check out this list below:

They also do waxing at very affordable prices!

So much services at very affordable prices. I am already thinking of availing two services soon. It's amazing that Dermcare provide treatments for the face, hair and body. It's like you don't have to look for other places because Dermcare provides the convenience of giving you all these services in one place. I haven't tried any of them yet but I will soon and I will surely blog about my experience so I hope you wait for it. ;)

During the Robinsons' Red Hot Sale, Dermcare at Robinsons Galleria has these amazing offers:

Diamond Power Peel for only Php 500
Body Scrub for Php 450
Eyelash Extension for Php 500
and a hair rebonding session for only Php 1,500 at ANY LENGTH!

That's for the whole of August so you have until next week to get these amazing offers!

Here are the list of branches if you'd like to visit them:

What Can I Get Using 1K GC at Daiso Japan During Robinsons Malls' Red Hot Sale?

Hey guys!

A couple of days ago, I blogged about the Robinsons Malls' Red Hot Sale. I included on that post some of the items I bought during my shopping spree at Robinsons Galleria last week. I only posted some because the rest were bought at Daiso Japan—one of the stores in Robinsons that's participating in this awesome, whole-month event.

I bet most of you already know what Daiso is all about, but in case you don't, it's a store that sells various items like kitchen ware, food, pet care, makeup, school supplies, fashion accessories, cleaning products, picture frames, and so on. They carry products from different brands and sell them for a very affordable price. How affordable exactly? Php 88.00!

So on today's post, I will be sharing with you the products I bought from Daiso Japan using a Php 1,000-worth of gift certificate. All of the products are priced Php 88.00 unless stated otherwise since some are priced lower because of the Red Hot Sale.

First on the list are goodies for my baby doggies!

Clothes for them just because I think they'll be cute on Aqui and Bono. I was only able to take a pic of one shirt because Aqui was already wearing his. Here's a pic of 'em with the clothes on:

I was surprised that they liked the shirts. They don't even try to take them off. Haha!

Also bought them some dog shampoos!

Now for the items on-sale:

These pouches are only Php 25.00 each!!! Twenty-five pesos!!!

Also Php 25.00 is this Aloe Milky Lotion.

And this Aloe Body Soap, which I intend to use as a hand soap is also Php 25.00!

This box of Adhesive Bandage that contains 52 pieces is only Php 44.00.

And so is this cute belt with a gold ribbon buckle!

And now, back to the regular priced items—Php88!

Dishwashing soap

A lunch container because I bring lunch to work. :P It even comes with a plastic spoon and fork!

Reed Diffuser because I loooove it when I'm in a room that smells good. This variant smells awesome!

Some falsies! The one one the left (yellow packaging) is my favorite set of falsies! <3 font="">

And finally, some cotton pads. You get 180 pieces for only Php 88.00! Neat!

And that, my friends, is what I got using a GC worth Php 1,000.00. You should grab the opportunity to shop at Daiso Japan while some of their items are discounted down to only Php 25, Php 44, and Php 65 (as if the Php88 is not affordable enough yet). There are hundreds more of products waiting for you so go, go, go and have fun at the Robinsons Red Hot Sale! :D

Check out the Daiso Japan branch at the Robinsons Mall nearest you and get to shop for further discounts during the Red Hot Sale which will last until August 31st!

Shop-Til-You-Drop at Robinsons Malls Red Hot Sale

Hey everyone!

Good news from Robinsons Malls! For the whole month of August, there will be a Red Hot Sale where you can enjoy HUGE discounts from many participating stores in all Robinsons branches nationwide.

Last Saturday, I experienced this shopping discount madness first hand as I roamed around Robinsons Galleria visiting and shopping at different stores, enjoying discounts up to 70% off on selected items.

I browsed a number of stores and found some really amazing deals!

First place I went to, Alberto!

Whenever I pass by an Alberto store, I can't help but stare at their pretty shoes and bags collections.

Dozens and dozens of shoes are on sale and they go as low as Php 500.00.

They even have a promo wherein you buy a regular priced product and get another one at 50% off!

I saw some really good deals as well. Check out these really cute items:

From Php 4,375.00 to only Php 1,500.00! That's like 65% off!

From P3,975.00 down to Php 1,987.50.

From Php 3,375 to only Php 1,500.00.

Yeah, I'm into golds lately. Haha! All of the items I've mentioned were on sale for more than 50% off!

But that's not all, they're bags are also discounted! They're all at around 20% off!

I did get my eye on this particular bag but it's not on sale since it's actually a new arrival:

I think my mom would absolutely love that bag.

Anyway, there are dozens more to see so check out an Alberto stores in a Robinsons Mall near you. :D

My next stop is Gozum Sample Room.

I really like this store because they have cute items at very affordable prices.

How affordable exactly??? Check out these Php 199.00 items!

Some of the items on sale are not really for the current rainy weather but the country is usually warm so anyone can rock these pieces sooner even before summer arrives.

For only Php 199.00, who wouldn't like this really cute doggie printed shirt? I learned that this is the designer's (Genevieve Gozum) dog. Isn't he cute?

But since I can't really shop for clothes here because I wear extra large clothes, I went straight to the accessories store.

I always end up buying something here whenever I visit. Haha!

They have this table filled with very low-priced accessories from earrings to necklaces!

And check out those price tags! Php 25.00??? That's a steal!!

And those shoes with 30% off and belts that are only Php 75.00! Awesome, just awesome.
I bet you can create a whole outfit here with a total of only Php 500.00 and still look fab!

I bought some accessories but I placed all the stuff I got at the end of the post. :)

Next store I visited was Time Depot.

I love watches. It's an accessory that's a must for me. I constantly look at the time so I rarely forget to wear one. Time is precious as they say!

That's why I have to check if Time Depot has a Red Hot Sale going on as well... and apparently, they do! All their watches are at least 20% off! ALL of them!

And there are some available for the kids too!

And if you're in a tight budget, check out the watches on the pic below. These are less than 1k only!

And on to the beauty bits. I visited Dermcare that offers skin, hair and spa services.

It's my first time to visit one of their branches actually. They currently have some great discounts on selected services.

I got to talk to Jazz from their marketing department who toured us (I'm with fellow blogger Ruth by the way. Hi Ruth!) around the spa and gave us an introduction about Dermcare and their services.

During the Robinsons' Red Hot Sale, Dermcare has these amazing offers:

Diamond Power Peel for only Php 500
Body Scrub for Php 450
Eyelash Extension for Php 500
and a hair rebonding session for only Php 1,500 at ANY LENGTH!

I'm already thinking of going back and availing some of those services!

And btw, their Robinsons Galleria branch is super cute! Check out the interiors on the pictures below:

The hair salon are is super fab!

And here's my favorite place, the couple's room!

It looks cozy and it's pink! It has massage beds, a sauna room, a tub to wash off the products like when you avail the body scrub...

Loving the bath tub with rose petals! Rawr!

I'll get into more details on Dermcare and their services on a different post. Hope you stay tune for that! :D

And of course, I have to visit my FAVORITE clothing store, Dorothy Perkins!

I just love their stuff. They are feminine and sophisticated. I would probably wear every single design they have. I love them all! And what's great about the brand is that they carry my size! Yayyyy!

And they have a rack of clothes that are discounted as well. I bought 2 dresses actually. You can see them at the bottom of this post! :D

And since I bought some dresses, I have to buy some shoes that can go with them! Time to hit my current favorite shoe store, Payless.

At Payless, you'll never know what to expect. You just have to keep coming back to see the latest shoes and which ones are on sale.

Last Saturday, they have a 50% off on the second item promo which ended last Sunday.

But don't worry. Most of their shoes are on sale now until the 30th on all Robinsons branches. See those yellow tags there? Yep! Those are the ones to watch-out for!

And finally, for my last stop, it's at Beyond the Box.

I only have my helpful laptop and my handy phone as gadgets. But for the sake of the techy-savvy people out there, I visited the store to see what's in-store for you.

I actually got fond of some items... because they're cute. LOL

Anyway, they have these offer:

Crumpler bags and iPhone 5, 5s, 5c cases are on sale at 20% off!

Aaaaannndddd those were the places I went to at shopped at.
I got to take home this much stuff! My shopping bag's handles almost tore off because they were getting heavier. Haha!

Here's are the stuff I bought:

From Gozum Sample Room:
Some flower crowns. I'm planning to use them on a makeover.

Earrings!

I bought a San San HD Concealer
This isn't on sale but HBC also participated with the Red Hot Sale and has their Hair Coloring products on sale!

Bought some Zen Zest fragrance at buy one take one for only Php 180.00. They also offer the buy-one-take-one promo on other fragrances for as low as Php 120.00.

Here are the shoes I got from Payless:
Got this for Php 999.00 (regular price)

And got this shoes for only Php 375.00! Original price was Php 1,250 and it was marked down for only Php 750. It got further discounted because of the 50% promo on the second item. :D

And finally, here are my dresses from Dorothy Perkins:

The floral one is around P 1.2k and the blue one was only Php 799.00! I'm so in-love with them!!
