Detail Cosmetics Water Tint in Wine

Hi loves!

I'm still one of the few people wearing a face (surgical) mask when I go use the public transport. I just can't risk getting sick nowadays. That being said, I can't use lipsticks and lip glosses under the mask. But as a typical kikay girly, I hate seeing myself looking pale after I remove my mask when I get to the office. Good thing lip tints are here! Here's one of the products I use:

Althea Watercolor Cream Tint

Hello loves!

Just a couple of months ago, I blogged about the first ever collection created by our one-stop Korean Beauty shop, Althea. You can check out my post about the entire collection and my initial thoughts and quick review for each one of them on THIS post.

Today, let me share with you a more detailed review of their Watercolor Cream Tints. To be honest, I was not a fan of tints much. I like liquid lipsticks but lip tints aren't really my thing because I like opaque colors and some tints make dry lips more obvious most of the time. The Althea Watercolor Cream Tints are a different case though!

Château Labiotte Wine Lip Tint in Rose Coral

Hi loves!

I'll share my swatches of the other product that my friend Tellie gave me when we last met up way back in September last year.

Château Labiotte Wine Lip Tint in Rose Coral

It was a gift, along with the Peripera Peri's INK VELVET in So Grapefruit,
from South Korea where she's currently staying.

I chose from a number of this mini size versions and I picked this shade... obviously because it's close to my favorite color (Salmon Pink)! Well... I usually like anything that's peachy pink. ;)

But before I go to the swatches, let's appreciate this super adorable packaging... I mean a wine shaped lippie?!? That's like two of my favorite things in one! How awesome can you get???

For this instance, it's three favorite things because of the color. ;)

Anyway, here are the product descriptions from the website:

I like that it promises that it's long-lasting and that it can give good moisture and pigment. I also like that it has some wine extract in it. ;)

The mini bottle has an applicator equipped that's also mini sized but still easy to apply the product on the lips.

Now here are the swatches!

Here it is at first swatch

Here is the swatch when it dries

And when I wash my hands with soap... look! It's still there!

And below are pics of the product on my lips:

One coat

Two coats

Three coats

So the product is buildable. With one coat, it just looks like my natural lips but more hydrated. I like wearing it with two coats.

I would agree with all the claims because it is indeed long-lasting and stays true to the swatches. The only thing that I would advise you is to keep your lips hydrated and maybe use a lips scrub because this product makes your dry areas of the lips very visible.

I love this product still. It's like my lips but better. I love having this in my kikay kit because it's just too cute, like I'm carrying wine with me everywhere. :D

What are your thoughts on Château Labiotte Wine Lip Tint in Rose Coral?

Cheers,

YADAH Triple Tintin Gloss

Hey loves!

It's international lipstick day! Yayyy! Time to get your favorite lipsticks out and wear them proud! I'm wearing one of my favorite, my MAC Ruby Woo as of the moment I am writing this particular blog post. I've already made a post about it though so for today, I'll share the newest one in my collection. It's not a lipstick though but it's a combination of lipglosses and a lip tint...

YADAH Triple Tintin Gloss Lipgloss

And if you don't know me already, I usually buy makeup if they are on sale or if they belong to my favorites. So yeah, this one was on sale! I got this for only PhP 100.00 from the original price of PhP 395.00.

On their packaging, you can read their claims that this product is paraben-free (preservatives, more info here), mineral oil-free (info here, some may be allergic to this like my sis), ethanol-free (alcohol can cause drying or irritation), triethanolamine-free (an emulsion to bind water and oil soluble ingredients, can cause allergic reactions), and propylene glycol-free (another alcohol).

I'm no expert at all those ingredients but I try to google what they are about. I provided links so you can see for yourself what these chemicals and oils are about. :)

Anyhoo... besides being hugely discounted, I bought it because it's a three-in-one product. You get a red lip tint and two glittery lip glosses for a value of PhP 100! I bought this during the mid year sale this July in case you're wondering. :)

Here are closeup pictures of the product. I took photos of how it looks like per part of the product to see how it works and how the applicators look like.

This one is the clear, glittery gloss

Translucent pink gloss

Red lip tint

Here are the swatches. All so beautiful and sparkly. :3

The tint leaves a stain too so your lips will remain reddish for a long while.

Below are swatches of the tint and glosses. I provided swatches of how they look like combined. Just for an easier way to caption and understand each swatch, I will mark them by the following:

1 = red tint
2 = translucent pink gloss
3 = Clear gloss

1 only

2 only

3 only

1 + 2

1 + 3

1 + 2 + 3

With just this product, I was able to create various looks! Below are pics of me with all three shades applied on my lips:

I love the effect when I applied the pink gloss on top of the tint! It's so wearable and I think it would look good in most (if not all) skin color. It's a great find and I think it would be great for traveling since you don't have to stick to one look with this in hand. Although, since the amount per shade is small, especially the tint, it will only last a short while if you use this frequently... which is not a big deal for me! I love it when I get to finish a makeup product! I feel like I got my money's worth... and I was able to get it so cheap! So happy! :3

And that, my dear, is my post for international lipstick day! A nice addition to my stash... I'll go hug my lipstick collection later when I get home and maybe share a pic on Instagram. Hihihi. :P

And oh! It's also world lasagna day! Care for some lasagna? ;)

Etude House Color Pop Shine Tint in Coral Pop

Hello dears!

Like wearing lip tints?
Well, you might want to check out Etude House's Color Pop Shine Tints.

I have one of the 10 available shades and it's the...

Etude House Color Pop Shine Tint in Coral Pop

It's Php 478.00 each.

I got this for free when I went to their Playhouse Princess Academy.

Below are pictures of what you'll see on the box:

The shades range from pinks and berries to reds, peaches and orange!
You can check them out on their website.

The packaging is pretty simple. Something that I don't expect from Etude House since most of their items are cased in super cute packaging.

Anyway, here are some info from their press release:

1. Lipstick + Tint + Lip gloss
• 3 in 1 magical tint that is highly pigmented like lipsticks,
long-lasting like tints, and shiny ilke lip glosses
2. Hybrid-Gelling System
• Maximize the glossiness to enhance long-lasting
effect by gelling much oil
•  Availability of various coloring with applying colors to
oil phase and water phase simultaneously
3. Superb moisturizing and long-lasting
• Botanical Moisture Wrapping system :
Hydro-Fitting Polymer with Guar helps
outstanding moisturizing & long-lasting
by forming moisture barrier

The applicator is somewhat different from the usual doe-foot applicators in other tints or lipglosses I've tried before. It has like a space in the middle where the product accumulates so that it holds a lot of it.

So here's the product on my lips!

Looking so zesty, huh??

I love the shade! I'm no fan of orange to be honest but I'm really liking this on my lips! My lips look so luscious and energized! The color lasts a long time but not all day—probably around 5 hours and that includes eating and drinking. And it is moisturizing. I don't have to put lip balm underneath anymore. No drying, no chapping!

So what do you think of Etude House's Color Pop Shine Tint? Do you think Coral Pop looks nice too? Would you wear a shade like this?

Cheers,
