Too Cool For School Hot Girl Lip Sticker in Urban Orchid

Hello loves!

I want to share with you this new and very sexy lipstick shade from Too Cool For School!

Too Cool For School Hot Girl Lip Sticker in Urban Orchid
Php 435.00

This is my third Hot Girl Lip Sticker (click HERE to see the others). What I love about these lipsticks is that it's just so bold and vibrant. It's one of the first bold lipstick range I found from a Korean makeup brand. I loved it when I first tried it two years ago, and I still love it until now.

I really like this pocket-sized packaging. It carries 2g of product and this can easily fit in your kikay kit and... your pocket!

The shade is a bright pink shade with cool undertones.

I think this can be a more affordable dupe for one of my favorite lipsticks, NARS Schiap, but this is slightly darker... just a tiny bit. And it also has a semi-matte finish!

See this beautiful swatch? I got that in just one swipe. It's so rich in color!

The vibrant color is so eye-catching and beautiful that it is automatically the star of your look!

Staying power is awesome. It can last a whole day (that is, if you won't be eating or drinking much). And it didn't cause any drying for my lips. It's a really good lipstick and it's something I can wear during the day or night, in the office or at a concert! It can make your look so sexy, girly, and fun all at the same time!

So what do you think of the Too Cool For School Hot Girl Lip Sticker in Urban Orchid? Do you wear shades like this as well?

Cheers,

Too Cool For School Hot Girl Lip Sticker in Blossom Pink

Hi dearies!

They were very generous to give each of us a goodie bag for coming. One of the products included in the bag is...

Too Cool For School Hot Girl Lip Sticker in Blossom Pink
A lipstick costs Php 435.00.

I really love the plaid pattern on the packaging. It suits the brand's name and personality!

Below are info on the packaging:
So... it's all in Korean...

But I found their website with their info in English.

Ingredients:
[#1] 2.45g
CAPRYLIC / CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE DIISOSTEARYL MALATE HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OIL TITANIUM DIOXIDE(CI 77891) TALC TRIETHYLHEXANOIN OZOKERITE MICA(CI 77019) SILICA HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL ISOSTEARATE CERESIN POLYGLYCERYL-2 TRIISOSTEARATE EUPHORBIA CERIFERA(CANDELILLA) WAX PETROLATUM SYNTHETIC WAX CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC/MYRISTIC/STEARIC TRIGLYCERIDE TOCOPHERYL ACETATE POLYETHYLENE FD&C YELLOW NO.6 AL LAKE(CI 15985) ETHYLENE / PROPYLENE COPOLYMER ULTRAMARINE BLUE (CI77007) D&C RED NO.7 CA LAKE(CI 15850:1) VP/HEXADECENE COPOLYMER METHICONE BUTYLPARABEN FRAGRANCE DIMETHICONE

Liz already gave a review on this lipstick (but in a different shade) so if you wanna check it out, click HERE.

And here's the lipstick:
Pretty!

The shade is like marshmallow pink!
I love the shade. It's so soft and feminine.

Here's a swatch on the back of my hand:

Here it is on my lips:

It's too creamy that it slides onto the dry areas and the lines of my lips. I'm having a hard time using this because even if I think my lips are okay (well, not on the pick above), it still gets stuck on the lines of my lips.

I really want this to work on me since I really like the shade... the only way I can wear this is if I do a wash off look. I blot my lips once or twice. Here's how it looks:

It's much tolerable that way, don't you think?

Well, I guess this is just not my cup of tea... I'm better off with really matte ones. I know some people who really like this like Liz and my friend, Helen. Check out her review on this HERE.

So if you have a well moisturized lips and love soft, pastel colors, then I recommend you to try this but as for me, I'll pass. :)

Review: Too Cool for School: Hot Girl Lip Sticker in #5 Real Red

Good evening ladies,

Remember that a while back we went shopping at this new Korean Make-up store, Too Cool for School. Unfortunately for me, I was only able to purchase one lipstick... but anyway since I have a huge lack of red lipsticks (I tend to buy nude shaded ones or light pink ones)... I decided to try their red lipstick.

It's a little heavy on the budget, it cost me around  Php 435 and I wasn't really all that excited about it since I found it to be quite, short... and on first try, it didn't look very impressive. But I decided to buy it because I wanted a matte red lipstick and the color wasn't that bad on my lips as well.

Here's a picture of the product and packaging.

Here's a picture of my lips sans the lipstick.

Swatch of the lipstick on my hand.

And here it is applied with a lip brush, one coat only, unblotted... was too lazy to run another coat.

Anyway, the more you build it up the more red it becomes. The product did not disappoint me though, it lasted for the whole day. I wore it on my duty and did not retouch it for 12 plus hours and it was still pretty bold and red at the end of the day... here's a picture taken with my phone after 12 hours.

However, when I took this picture, I applied 2 coats that day... as advised by Lisa Eldridge. To add to it's long lasting-ness (if there is a word), it was very resistant to water and food. Also, it did not chap my lips... they do look kind of dry in this photo, but I did not have cracks or loose skins at the end of the day so that's a big plus. I read in testerkorea.com that it contains jojoba oil, so that may have added to the anti-chap effect.

The collection comes in 5 colors:
Blossom Pink
Hawaiian Flower (which the SA said was a best seller)
Lady Salmon
Tangerine
Real Red

You can click the link above to check out pictures of the other shades.

To summarize...

What I like:
Packaging
Matte
Long Lasting
Does not chap/crack the lips

What I don't like:
Somewhat expensive (Php 435)
Short

Would I buy again?
Probably.

It turned out to be a good purchase after all, isn't that nice? Anyway, I hope to be able to buy more great products from this store... for now I will have to wait and patiently make up strategies to save money so I can buy more make ups.

Cheers,
LIZ
