Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Eye Liner & Brush in Intrigue

One of the lovely products I've bought on a huge discount is this product...

Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Eye Liner & Brush

I bought this at Beauty Bar for only Php 350.00. The original price was Php 1,450.00.

Here's what the product is about from the box:

The shade I bought is Intrigue. There was another shade that was on sale. It was brown in color. I already have a brown gel liner so I didn't buy that one.

The product is housed in a pot, which is common for gel liners.

It comes with a brush applicator.

The tip is slightly bent so application is easier. I find bent eyeliner brushes easier to use because it is easier to control the thickness of the lines.

I wasn't aware about the performance of this gel liner. I actually just bought this because of the huge discount. I just wanted to try something new as well.

I also thought that it would be nice to try a gel liner that is not black or brown. This shade is like ashy gray which is something I haven't tried before.

It's creamy but it only takes a few seconds for it to dry when applied so I don't have to wait too long before I can open my eyes. 

And here's how it looked after I tried smudging several times.

It's good! It is smudge-proof. And it also doesn't get ruined when placed under running water. It's a different case though when you have oily lids. You get a bit of the product on the upper part of your lids.

Anyway, I also provided a comparison of the product with the usual black gel liners I use. The black gel liner swatched in the pic is my Too Cool For School Eye Design Box Eye Makeup Multi Kit.

I use this whenever I want to line my eyes but I don't want the fierce, bold finish of black liners or the warm tones of brown liners. I do think this is a really good product and I am happy that I was able to get it in an incredible discount. I love almost everything about it except for the occasional transferring of product to my upper lids when my lids get oily. But a good primer and the use of powder shadows can help deal with that. :)
