Pinkies Collections Single Eyeshadow in Salmon

 Hey dears!

Just a quick swatch post again!
I bought this very affordable single eyeshadow that I'm actually using as a blush!

Pinkies Collections Single Eyeshadow in Salmon

Bought it during my trip to Cebu where I first bought some items from the brand. The SA's there were super friendly and even gave me a free case.

It was originally cased on a plastic packaging with only the pan.
One eyeshadow is Php 70.00.

Labeled on the packaging are the production and expiration dates.

Here's a closeup of the eyeshadow.
Have I mentioned that my favorite color is salmon pink? :)

Here's a swatch on my arm.
It's quite pigmented but a bit powdery. I barely use it on my eyes lately because I use it more as a blush!

Just look how pretty it is on my cheeks!

I just love this shade!

So what do you think of Pinkies Collections' Eyeshadow in Salmon?
Would you rather use it as an eyeshadow or a blush as well?

Cheers!

Pinkies Collections Makeup Base

Hi guys! :)

Do you use Makeup bases?
I use one everytime I put makeup since I have oily skin and it helps a lot for my makeup to stay on my skin for a longer period of time.

So when I was at the Pinkies Swear Booth at Watsons, Ayala Center, Cebu, I bought one since the SA told me it was their best seller.

So for today's post, a short review on...

Pinkies Collections Makeup Base

This 115ml bottle is only Php199.00.
It's packaged in a cute pink salmon box which attracted me to the stall since I just love that color!

Here is a list of ingredients as labeled on the box:

This was new to me when I bought this. All I know for now is that it is a sister company of the local brand, James Cooper.

So on to the review...

I use this after I have cleansed, toned and moisturized my face and before I put on my foundation and other makeup.

You only need about a pea size of this and you can spread it throughout your face. It has a semi-light consistency and has a milky color. But it doesn't leave any color on your face. It dries and gets absorbed by skin fast so you can proceed on applying makeup in a jiffy.

If you have good skin and you don't put much product on your face, like my friend who I test-ran it with, then this is a good makeup base for you. It really does prolong the lasting power of your makeup.

But if you are like me who uses layers of products such as BB Cream, foundation, concealer, loose powder, etc. (curse you bad skin!!!) and have oily skin, then you might not like this. It actually makes my makeup cake and also produces creases in inner corners of my face. It also tends to make my skin oil faster than usual.

So would I buy this again?
No. Because this does not suit my skin and the way I apply my makeup. It doesn't work well as a makeup base on me. But this is probably good enough for those who are on a budget and use light makeup and have dry to normal skin.

Have you tried this product yet?
What do you think of Pinkies Collections Makeup Base?
Do you use Makeup bases too? Which is your favorite?

Pinkies Collection Lipstick in Champagne Bubble

Hello beautiful people!

Salmon Pink is my super favorite color. So seeing a stall in that color while I was browsing a Watsons branch in Cebu attracted me... and then bought quite a number of products from. Haha!

This is one of the products I bought:

Pinkies Collection Lipstick in Champagne Bubble

I bought this because I wanted a matte pinkish nude lipstick.
The lipstick is very affordable at Php149.95. :)

The packaging is alright. The quality isn't fancy much and it looks a lot like MAC lipsticks. The shape and the size is almost identical. :P

The box is of the cute salmon pink color or pastel peachy pink.

Included are the shade number and ingredients.

A swatch on my arm

and here's the product on my lips

It's a warm, pink, nude shade, right?
I often put it on top of darker shade lipsticks too and it makes a big difference in making that dark, bold color look more subtle.

I'm glad I bought this and looking forward to trying out their other lippies. I'm just not sure where their other branches are here in Manila. I think there's one in SM Mall of Asia?
If you know, do share and comment below! :D

Have you tried any product from Pinkies?
What do you think of this shade?

Cheers!

Pinkie Swear Haul

Hi everyone!

A few days ago, I was in Cebu for the Sinulog with my sister and friends.
Before heading back to Manila, we had lunch at Ayala Center, Cebu and I did a few window shoppings that led to a few purchases. :P

So while I was browsing stuff at Watsons, I saw this pink stall with all the pink packaging and thought that it was cute. I interviewed the SA and found out that the brand is called Pinkie Swear Collection or Pinkies Collection and it is a sister company of James Cooper Makeup.

The products are very affordable! Cheaper than James Cooper. The packaging of the products is a mixture of pink and black. Most of the cases look a lot like MAC's but of cheaper quality. Though it is really a good buy considering the price.

I bought their bestseller, the makeup base. I have quite a number of makeup bases/primers already but the flavour, Milk, sold it for me.
I also bought a matte lipstick, shade is Champagne Bubble and a cute eyeshadow in Salmon. The SA even gave me a free eyeshadow case and eco bag! Yayyy!
Will make reviews on this so hope you wait for them! :D

I also bought a few more items because the SA's there are soooooo nice and accommodating.

4U2 DFY9 Liquid Eyeliner
4U2 Glitz Shimmer Mascara in Brown
and I also got a free sample of 4U2 Posh 2 Way Foundation! Yayyy!

And finally bought 4 Watsons Mini Wet Wipes
and
Glam Works Hand Cream in Sweet Berries which are in a promo! Buy 1 Take 1! Oh yeah!

When I left Watsons, I also bought some 'pasalubong' for my friends here in Manila. I wasn't able to take pictures though. Oh well! :P

That's all!
I really enjoyed the week long vacation I spent in Cebu and Bohol. Definitely hoping for a next time!

Cheers!
