Review : Milk Peel Cream Mask

Hello dearies!

It's the last day of 2018 and since I didn't plan anything for today, I want to keep my last few hours of the year as productive as possible and I figured, why not write a review?

This one is actually overdue, but to be fair, I usually take a longer time to write skincare reviews since it takes a while to see any difference on the skin compared to just wearing makeup.

This product that I'll be share with you is one of Althea's exclusive products. I have reviewed some of their releases and I've been enjoying every product so far, specially the Petal Velvet Sunaway. This newer item is another skincare product that would works well with my oily skin type...

Onsaemeein Yogurt Peeling

Hello loves!

Do you use peeling gels? I've only tried a few (and also did a couple of reviews) and generally, I like the effects of these products on me. Basically, these peeling gels help in instantly removing the outermost thin layer of your skin... you know, such as the flaky parts. It's pretty much like a face scrub without the "scrubbing" or the beads.

I'm currently using the
Onsaemeein Yogurt Peeling
that I bought from AltheaPH for PhP 300.00 only.

For details of the product, you can check it out on Althea's Website or you can check out the labels on the tub if you can read Hangul.

The packaging is simple and cute. It's a plastic tube with cute peach prints. I like the font choices and that they limit the design to two colors (three if you add the black font labels at the back). The shape is not the usual tub because the cap is a bit chunky that makes it easy to spot among my skincare products.

It's equipped with a spatula too. It's super cute and I love the shape and the spoon-like part at the tip. It makes using the product more hygienic!

The product smells a bit sweet with a hint of yoghurt. It's very mild—unnoticeable when applied. Its look remind me of paste but it's not sticky at all. It's really like gel.

Here's how I use it...
Using the spatula, I get a little bit bigger than a pea-size amount since I have a big face.
I massage it with my fingers for a minute or two.

And then these bits of what I would call a mix of skin (mostly), sebum, and dirt would appear. It's exfoliation without irritating the skin with scrubs!

This product takes care of my weekly exfoliation. Sometimes I use it twice a week but most of the time I limit it to one and then use a scrub after 3 days (what can I say, I like a good scrubbin'!).

This product will show the brighter skin underneath. It helps smoothen my face too. And when your face is smooth, your makeup also looks better. I've been using it for months now and I haven't encountered irritations with this product.

Overall, I like this product. i like how it performs on my skin and I also like how easy it is to use. The design is good and I like how affordable it is. I would recommend you check this thing out. ;)

V10 Plus Water Based Peeling Facial Mask

Hi lovelies!

Looking for a delicate water-based exfoliating mask? Do you dislike having to rub rough scrubs on your face to remove dead skin? Then you might want to check this product out.

V10 Plus Water Based Peeling Facial Mask

I received an email from one of the representatives of the brand who asked if I'd be interested in trying a product that "effectively remove dead skin cells without any harsh scrubbing. It reveals a clearer, fairer skin instantly!" With that kind of description, no questions asked, I immediately agreed.

And this arrived in our doorstep a few days later.

It contains four sachets of the V10 Plus Water Based Peeling Facial Mask.

So before I tried one, I read what was labeled on the brochure so that I would have an idea on what it can do and what I can expect from it. Here's what's written on it:

Reading those claims made me feel at ease with this product especially since the brand is new to me. I like that it's dermatologist-tested and that it promises results in just 10 days. It has no mineral oil that can lead to break outs or allergies to some people (my sister experiences break outs from that). It's also water-based which leads me to the idea of it being milder than other thicker products.

What made me more confident about the product is that it has been mentioned numerous times in different printed media all over the world.

I like rice bran in my skin care. I used to buy these rice bran soaps from Cyleina (I don't think they carry this anymore, please let me know if they still do!) and those soaps help me with my bacne problems. They have small scrubs that help exfoliate dead skin but it still never dries my skin. So knowing that the primary ingredient of this peeling facial mask is rice bran made me trust this brand even more.

The seaweed, on the other hand, is a familiar ingredient to me when it comes to skincare. I love the seaweed range from The Body Shop so having seaweed in the product is also a good sign for me!

I used this twice a week for two weeks. I used one whole sachet for my face in every use.

The product is clear and the consistency is gel like but it dissolves easily into a watery substance.

As instructed, I apply this all over my face and after 5 seconds, I massage it in a circular motion.

And look! Flakes, which are actually dead skin, started to appear. And if you're in doubt if it really is skin, I tried rubbing it on other surfaces like wood and glass but no flake was produced so I do believe this only works on skin.

And then I just rinse it off with water! It's so easy to use, no need to scrub with rough beaded creams on your face to get rid of dead skin that clogs up pores. It's gentle on skin and I didn't encounter redness (I get that when I use facial scrub too long) or any kind of irritations. And after rinsing, my face felt smoother and softer! Awesome!

I super like the product and I would love to get a full-sized one. Seeing as how effective this product is, I'm curious to know what other products V10 Plus has. I'm very interested to know more about it.

Have you tried this product yet? Would you like to try something like this? Do you know other V10 Plus products?

Tony Moly Floria Active Peeling Gel

Hey everyone!

Among all the GWP's (gifts with purchase) I've received from buying beauty products, the one I'll be talking about in this post is probably the best of them all since I got a full size product! And I was actually surprised since I the price of what I bought was more or less 1k only!

Tony Moly Floria Active Peeling Gel
This tube retails for Php 478.00.

It is housed in a tube which makes it easy to control the amount of product you take out.
The design is very simple compared to some of the products from the brand.

At the back, there are labels, directions and list of ingredients written in english.

I was happy that I got something like this since one of my major skin problems is my acne scars. I use this once a week to peel off dead skin on my face.

The product has a gel-like consistency. Quite easy to spread all over the face.

Just massage it to the skin in around a minute and you will see some "dead skin" coming off. After that, just wash it off with warm water.

I was amazed at first that the amount of dead skin removed was that much and thought that maybe it's just the product... So I tried it on different surfaces and not on skin. First, on a wooden table, nothing happened. Then, on a leather wallet, nothing happened as well. I was somehow convinced after that. What made me like it is that after a few more times of using this product, I got less of the dead skin so I think that since I exfoliate every week with this that I don't have as much dead skin than the first time I've tried it. And my skin feels so soft as well. This does very subtle peeling though so don't expect that the scars would get lighter instantly.

What I like about this is you get to peel without the drying and not like the peeling products that causes skin to flake and makes makeup application look bad. This didn't dry my face (my skin is very oily) but still make sure to use moisturizer. I also didn't experience any irritations.

So have Tony Moly Floria Active Peeling Gel yet?
Do you know any similar product?

Cheers!
