January (2018) Haul

Hey loves!

Sooo... I was honestly trying to save money for travels that I have lined up for 2018. Unfortunately, I miserably failed this first month of the year because I splurged on new things. Splurged. Haha! I blame the new year sales and the clearance/end of season sales that I bought more things than I initially planned. Ugh. BUT I do love everything I bought... it's just that I bought too much of the same thing/s. In short, most are excess. lol

Anyway, here are the items I bought:

Shopping Online at Dresslily.com

Hey guys!

I like shopping online since you can do it in the convenience of your home, but it's been a while since I did some online shopping. I've only been purchasing subscription boxes which means I'm not certain of what products I would get for the month. So now that I did some online shopping and I get to pick the items myself, it's quite a change since I'm already sure I'd get what I want.

I guess some of you might disagree with that since not everything you see online is what it seems when you get the actual product. This is not a rare issue since I and some of the people I know had experienced this.

Good thing I was lucky to discover this online store called, Dresslily.com. They actually contacted me first so I can get to try their service. Dresslily is an international fashion clothing and accessory store with a huge variety of cute and fashionable things from bags and shoes to accessories and clothes.

Their items are quite affordable and they offer discounts regularly! And what's more, they offer free shipping worldwide!

So I ordered some items and within two and a half weeks, I got the items from our local post office. Awesome! It's quite fast (in the Philippines sort of way LOL) since I chose a flat rate shipping method. Anyway, here are the products I bought from Dresslily:

And I guess I've been wearing this ring a lot lately.

I love that little dangling crystal tail!

And my favorite is this set if earrings and necklace!

It's so feminine, glamorous, and princessy! That's so my style!

I like wearing this to work when I am in a dress. 

It just gives that extra glam factor to my outfit.

And this beautiful necklace could look over-the-top for a day in the mall...

but I'd still wear it because it's just so pretty!

Even my boss said it looks great!

I'm so happy with all the products. And all of these are below $20 only and I didn't even pay for shipping except for the postal fee when I claimed it in the Manila Central Post Office. :) Shopping at Dresslily is a cinch since the website is very well-organized and the whole transaction process is fast and easy.

Shopping at Eazy Fashion!

Hello everyone!

Looking for a shop that carries almost every cute and fashionable items? 

Then I know one that is just that!

You might be familiar with Eazy Fashion already. It's been around for a while and many blogger friends of mine have blogged about them before. In fact, I actually hosted a giveaway with Eazy Fashion last April and it has been a pleasure working with them. Last week, I had the opportunity to shop at their online store. They gave me a value, sort of like a gift certificate to use and I can pick anything I want! 

I was soooo excited!!!

I'm a watch person. But I currently don't have any to wear because my favorite one ran out of batteries and I keep forgetting to get it fixed! And my other watches are... well, missing... some were borrowed and were never returned (ouch!). So this offer was just right on time! 

And the next two items I picked were...

Matte Nail Polish Top Coat

I got shades 5 and 9. :D

I haven't tried matte nail polish before so I'm very, very excited to get these. I got a sexy purple shade and a light, nude-ish shade. :D

All the products are quite affordable and you can get them in a lower price if you buy many. Each product has a corresponding wholesale price.

And just after two days, I got the package! Wow, right? They delivered it very quickly even if there was a typhoon that passed by the country. Amazing service!

A Plus Size Online Store I'll Surely Frequent—Ward88

Hello loves!

Are you a plus sized woman like me?

Do you encounter problems in finding clothes your size?

The hardest one to find, for me, is a good fitting bra! Most of the brands in the department stores do not carry my size. I only get them at stores that are quite expensive for me (oh how poor I am... tsk tsk tsk).

Well, I've been having a hard time finding those in affordable prizes. Sure I can get the clothes I want in international brands like Marks & Spencer and the like, but since I'm just new to the working force, I barely have the money to shop at these places.

And while browsing the threads on Girltalk, this online shop was recommended to me—Ward88. They have different apparels from dresses to underwear. They even carry some accessories too!

I was so happy to see that they have so many selections and I was tempted to buy so much stuff. But since I'm on a tight budget, I limited myself to what I really needed—new bras.

And I happily bought 4! Hooray that they carry my size! :D

I bought it last Saturday for only Php 300.00 each. Sooooo affordable, right? 

It was supposed to be shipped immediately that coming Monday but the typhoon+monsoon made it difficult so it was sent to the courrier yesterday instead. 

And the package was safely delivered to my house today! Awesome, right? I still got the package less than a week even if there were heavy rains and flood!

The items were cased in this bag (it's inside the LBC package FYI).

And I even got a freebie! Weeee! It's not my style but still a freebie nonetheless! :D

I tried on the bras and they fit perfectly! I'm really, REALLY glad that I bought them. I am super happy that I have to blog it the same day I received them! I'll surely shop at Ward88 again for sure!

Store Highlight : Pulseras By Kim + Giveaway!

Hello Loves!

I'm pleased to share with you these beautiful accessories that are so cute and chic at the same time. And what makes it more interesting is that these are handmade!

And to make things more exciting, one of you will get a chance to take home some!

But first of all, let me share with you what these bracelets are all about!

A week ago, I was contacted by Kim of Pulseras by Kim if I'd like to check out her handmade bracelets. I quickly clicked the link to her Facebook Page where she displays them and was amazed at all those bracelets she made. She really has an impressive selection of designs that's why in just a matter of minutes, I agreed to feature and host a giveaway for her.

A few days later, I received the package.

She was generous enough to send a separate box for me, Liz and for the giveaway winner.

and we don't know if Kim is psychic but she gave Liz the color combination of Italy's flag (just turn the photo 180 degrees, I got the formation wrong, haha!). Liz loves Italy and dreams of visiting/living there in the future!

It would look great even in the simplest attire of a white shirt and jeans!

I asked Kim what inspired her to create these bracelets and she said that she has been creating bracelets since she was in grade school. She was doing friendship bracelets made with dmc threads that you weave together (I remember I used to do that too). And when she was doing her thesis, she started making them again to relieve herself from the stress. Then her friends started asking her to do some for them and eventually ended selling them. 

Isn't it nice to earn profit from doing something you like and is even your stress buster? 

I wish I could sell my paintings eventually as well. Haha!
