Something New: The Body Shop's Honeymania Collection

A few days ago, I received this set from The Body Shop.

These are skincare products from their newest collection—Honeymania! I've seen them before in TBS' International Facebook Page and was very curious to smell it because they kept saying that it smells really good. So when I got the package, I would have to agree. It smells sooooo good! I haven't opened the package and the scent can already be smelled.

It's not exactly all honey in terms of the scent. It has a bit of floral smell... like honey made fresh from the flower fields where the bees got it from. I'm not really good with words so just trust me when I say that you have to smell this collection for yourself.

 With the package came a press release. It contains product info about the collection so let me share them with you. :)

Obsessed with The Body Shop's Vanilla Bliss

Hi lovely people!

I would just love to share this current scent obsession whenever I take my baths/showers.

I have the Shower Gel and Body Polish

Been using them alternately the day I opened them last December (except for the week when I went out of town).

I think I have mentioned in some of my posts that I am a huuuugggeee Vanilla fan whether its skin care or Ice cream. But whenever The Body Shop's Christmas Limited Editions arrive, I'm usually torn with Cranberry Joy and Vanilla Bliss (Though Ginger Sparkle smells awesome too  - it reminds me of a really sweet root beer float).

But for this year, I'm all for Vanilla Bliss!

I don't know if they tweaked the formula a little or something but this is a winner scent for me! I can't get enough of it! A little of the products goes a long way. It gets foamy and the scent sticks to your skin. It's not the overly sweet scented Vanilla (which I still like since it is still Vanilla). The scent is just mildly sweet, warm and delicious and very addicting! And oh, the packaging is better this year compared to last year's too and they changed the scent's name from Spiced Vanilla!

I still have an extra Body Polish, which was a Christmas Gift from The Body Shop, in stock which I'm so thankful for since this scent is only available during the Christmas Season.

Maybe I should have gotten some more. I will surely miss it when I run out and I'd have to wait for a long time to get my hands on them again.

French Saturday (Haul Post)

 Hi everyone!

Yesterday, I was at SM Southmall for work. Quite faraway from my place (I'm from Manila).

Took me 2 hours to go there and to get home. It was really a tiring day so to at least make it  rewarding somehow, I did a few shopping!

I named this post "French Saturday" because of the 2 stores I purchased from. I didn't really plan on buying at these stores or buy anything at all, it just turned out that they are both french stores.

 2 stores were Yves Rocher and Tous Les Jours.

Tous Les Jours isn't really all french. It's actually a French-Asian Bakery. My bro and I just loooove their Macarons de Paris and Apple Pies. I was only able to take a photo of 1 set of macarons. The rest I bought were immediately consumed. Haha!

Body Recipe Sweat Pea Fantasy Lotion and Shower Gel

I've always loved the scent of Bath and Body Works' Sweet Pea fragrance. I usually get my hands on them when I get them as gifts from relatives abroad. I don't really look for resellers just to purchase them... it's too much of a hassle, I guess, since I'm not too particular with my lotions. As long as they moisturize and smell good, I'm happy.

 Then came this package from HBC containing their Body Recipe Sweat Pea Fantasy Lotion and Shower Gel products. I was kinda excited when I saw it. I kept repeating in my mind, "Sana kasing bango sya ng Bath and Body Works!" And I wasn't disappointed. It really smells quite like it.

 I like the consistency of the lotion. It's not too thick that it gets sticky on my skin but it still moisturizes. The smell is also long lasting. Been already hours and I can still smell it on me.

 I'm a fan of shower gels rather than solid soaps. I've tried different brands and scents from strawberry yogurt to floral scents. And since I love this scent so much, I've been using it everyday since I got the package. It's not that foamy but the scent is just refreshing!

The Sweet Pea scent comes with a Body mist as well. And Body Recipe has 2 other fragrance for this natural skin care line --- Cucumber Bliss and Jasmine Dream.

 Now I don't have to buy a bottle worth Php300-400 worth from BBW. I can just get one that is pretty much like it from all HBC stores for only Php150 - hand and body lotion, Php186 - shower gel and Php99.75 -  body mist. That's around 50% off! :)

I definitely think that it's a good find. It's a very cheap alternative that delivers almost the same results. I'm curious to try the other two scents though!
