Made By David Hand Sanitizers

Hey guys!

Having clean hands is always a must. It can prevent illnesses and even breakouts (for the skin conscious people like me). I always wash my hands as often as I can, especially when I'm about to eat. If I cannot wash my hands, I make sure I have sanitizers or rubbing alcohol with me wherever I go.

I currently have a bottle of Made by David Hand Sanitizer, particularly the Orange and Ginger scent.

I got this from BeautyMNL when I purchased a set of products. If you purchase individually, it costs PhP 100.00.

Below are the labels on the bottles:

More info from BeautyMNL's website:

Made by David Organics is all about providing carefully crafted products that are naturally healthy, generously nourishing, and sweet little pleasures to use. Everything they make is created with a lot of love, tons of passion, and a fair conscience. This is it right here, your new favorite part of your beauty and wellness regimen!

What is hands down the most nourishing, sweetest-smelling hand sanitizer in the world? You’re looking at it, love. Unlike most hand sanitizers, this has zero harsh chemicals so you’re left with soft, supple skin (not to mention bacteria-free).

Orange & ginger blend for an inspiring, energizing scent!
Grapefruit & Sage for a refreshing, awakening summery scent!
Green tea & lemon grass combine for a soothing, uplifting scent!

INGREDIENTS: Deionized Water, Ethyl Alcohol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Extract, Lavender Essential Oil, Grapefruit Extract, Chitosan, Lactic Acid,  Essential Oils.

The packaging is pretty cute. It's simple and I guess it looks appropriate for it's price. It's easy to use because you only have to spray it. The size makes it easy to carry around too.

I like that it's organic. No harsh chemicals involved so whenever I spray it, it doesn't dry out my hands. It also doesn't leave any sticky feeling.

I love how each of them smells. I usually do not like citrusy scents but these, particularly the grapefruit and orange, are mixed with herbs to create a new scent which I just love! They all smell great that even my boss loves them and has asked me to buy her some when I buy again (which I definitely will). My favorite is the green tea and lemon grass just because I LOVE green tea. I just love smelling it so much that I just spray it to smell it. Haha!

And that's all for this post. What sanitizers do you use? Have you tried any products from Made by David?

Cheers,
DAWN

Messy Bessy: The Little Warrior

Good day ladies,

I have recently been given a Messy Bessy alcohol spray for Christmas and have been using it for the past few days. I wanted to do a short review of the product.

Messy Bessy is a local brand that started out in 2007. They sell worry-free household cleaning products, all of which are made with safe, non-toxic, all natural, biodegradable ingredients. They hope to spread awareness about the harm caused by conventional house hold cleaning items to the planet, create all natural alternatives, and educate and guide their customers and all others into going green. If you want to know more about their products and their campaign, you can visit their website at http://www.messybessy.com

As you can see this alcohol spray is made with sugarcane alcohol, aloe vera extract and essential oils. Actually while using it, I hardly felt like I was using an alcohol spray since it didn't feel drying on the hands. The alcohol was as gentle water and yet it leaves a soft feeling on the skin. However, since it feels like that, I end up spraying more on my hands (not very "matipid").

The price for this spray is Php 70 for 50 ml bottle and Php 500 for 1-liter refill bottle. Messy Bessy also offers Php 10 discount if you return your used bottles to them; now that's a very environmentally friendly policy. I hope other companies have similar policies too.

The alcohol has a kiwi scent infused in it and it really smells like kiwi. One spray and the scent permeates through your hands and the air. The only problem I have with it is that, the scent is overpowering. It isn't particularly offensive to the nose with one spray, but one spray can hardly cover your hands, so you need at least 2 sprays. This is where it gets too strong. I used it once inside my uncle's car and they had to open the windows since the smell was too strong.

That's actually all I have to say about this product. It's really nice but I'd rather the smell was dialed down but if you're a big fan of the kiwi small then this would be perfect.

Tell us if you have tried other Messy Bessy products or if there are any you'd recommend for us to try.

Cheers,
LIZ

Sakura Foam Hand Sanitizer

Hello everyone!

I always bring either a small bottle of hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol (isopropyl or ethyl or whatever I find in my house that I can transfer in my small spray bottle) inside my bag for hygienic purposes. We have to keep our hands clean since we get to touch things that we do not know where they've been, like money to name one example. Dirty hands are probably one of the major causes of sickness and acne (eew!), and who wants those?

Another reason why it's important for me to bring one is because I draw a lot and sometimes I need to clean the pencil lead off my hands when I do my sketches.
And oh, for clean hands when I do my makeup touch ups!

Right now, you'll see a bottle of
Sakura Foam Hand Sanitizer
in my Kikay bag.

I have a two bottles of the 50ml one, which is around Php 90.00 each, but it is also available in a 200ml bottle.
I got them from my previous Salad Boxes.

The packaging is quite cute. Like a beach, summer-y feeling. Like giving you an idea that it will give a clean, refreshing feeling once you use it. I like!

At the back of the bottle, you'll see some product descriptions and list of ingredients.

The bottle has a foam pump.
Yes, FOAM! It's what makes this product unique from all the hand sanitizers I've tried!

See! It's just so cute that it releases foam! Haha!
I excitedly kept asking people if they want some hand sanitizer so I can squeeze the foam out... yeah, I'm weird like that. Haha! I just like seeing their amazed faces when they see the foam. :P

Anyway, it's in a mild floral scent.
I like how it smells. Not like the hospital smelling ones I used before.
And what makes this product more interesting, other than it kills 99.9% of common germs, is that it is quite moisturizing! It's like a mild hand lotion already!

Have you tried Sakura Foam Hand Sanitizer yet?
Share with us your thoughts on this.

Cheers!
