Urban Decay Naked Flushed in Going Native

Hello dears!

I really appreciate products that are multipurpose. They make the makeup application process faster and can make packing during travel lighter. That is why I like bringing this compact when I visit other place...

Urban Decay Naked Flushed

This palette costs $34.00 on the Urban Decay website.

This was given to me by my sister. This palette's shade is called Native. I was actually confused because when I was browsing the website, the shade is named "Going Native." So I searched other websites and read other blogs and apparently there was some controversy regarding the word "native" that's used to describe a bronzing palette. Check out Temptalia's blog post's comment section regarding the conversation about its name.

Here's the product description from the website:

Bronze. Glow. Blush. Get Naked and FLUSHED in no time with our hot (and highly coveted) threesome. These shades diffuse light as they enhance and perfect, giving your skin a fresh, glowy look—even when your late-night antics have you feeling otherwise. But how you get Naked is up to you. Use these SILKY pressed powders individually or blend them together to create just the right effect—and let this seemingly straight-laced trio morph into a tangled color love fest. Then bask in the radiant glow and let people wonder what you’ve been up to.

Our micronized, jet-milled formula has a luxe, featherlight texture that feels amazing on your skin. The shades are intensely pigmented, yet they blend beautifully. And the finish? Flawless.

We obsessed over the shade work to make sure that we had the perfect bronzer, highlighter and blush for each trio. Not sure which one to choose? Each trio is versatile enough for any skin tone, so you can’t go wrong.

Naked Flushed comes in a sleek case with an easy-open magnetic closure and a big mirror. It’s compact enough for travel or mid-date touchups, but don't let that fool you. This might just be the biggest pan of product out there; the bronzer, highlighter and blush are all full-size on their own.

Urban Decay is 100% cruelty-free.

I love the slim compact and that it is equipped with a mirror. It's travel friendly because it doesn't consume too much space and it's not bulky. The look is simple with the classic NAKED design (consistent with the famous Naked Eyeshadow Palettes).

The shades are placed together without dividers. The colors are big enough that the brushes I use do not swirl them together. Just blow on the palette if some of the powders separate when swiped. That being said, the product can be a bit powdery. But just a tiny little bit. It's pretty smooth and pigmented.

With just one swipe, I get these swatches. The bronzer has a satin finish and a warm tone. The very light pink highlighter also has a warm tone. It gives off the strongest payoff so if you like highlighters that give you an ultra glow, this can give you that if you build it up. Finally, the soft pink blush has a cool tone that has the least shimmer of all. It's sort of semi-matte in my eyes. I think it's a color that can suit many skin tones, you just have to build up the color depending on your taste.

Here's how the shades look like on me. Every single product can be easily blended together.

I'm not a fan of cool-toned pink blushes but I find this one pretty good. I always bring it with me when I travel because it's just so handy and I just bring a warm peach blush if I want to do a different look. At least the bronzer is warm enough to act as my contour and the the highlighter is pretty universal in the looks I usually create. Although among the six shades this palette is available, I would like to get my hands on Nooner, Naked, and Streak.

What are your thoughts on the Urban Decay Naked Flushed? :)

Cheers,
DAWN

    1. Hi Giselle! As much as I love this idea, I don't think I'm the right person to write about it. The only only stores I've bought from that shipped to me internationally are Althea and Sephora (and they both have PH-based offices?). It's actually my sister (who now lives in Australia) is the one who usually buys internationally.

I do have some experience with brands from abroad who send me products to review and most if not all get held up at our post office (that is if they don't use private shipping companies like DHL). Before I used to pay extra fees (sometimes amounting to P400-2k...because of, well... corrupt officers), but because there was a law passed that you don't have to pay extra tax as long as the items are less than P10k in value, I only pay for the postal fee that's around P112.00. :)
