Zoeva En Taupe Eyeshadow Palette

One of the things I keep telling myself is to stop buying eyeshadows. Let's face it, eyeshadows are one of the products that are almost impossible to use all up before it reaches the date of it's supposed life span. Many would settle with a great neutral palette and a few colors, but I just LOVE mixing and matching shades and creating various looks around the eye area that I can't resist getting a beautiful palette!

And that's the case when I saw this product...

Bought this at SephoraPH for PhP 1,106.00.

What attracted me to this is the selection of shades. Most of my neutral eyeshadows are on the warm, coppery to gold side. I happen to like some mauves too! Seeing the first 6 shades from the right made me so interested in this palette! I haven't tried any Zoeva eyeshadows but I do like their highlighters and I love how soft their makeup brushes are. Since I do like a couple of their products, taking the risk of getting another one without swatching it first is not a hard decision for me to make.

The packaging looks great. I love the design the most. The sleek design with the holographic lines that form cubes in different taupe-nude shades is such an amazing concept. I also like that this palette is very slim. It doesn't take up much room in my makeup drawers. It's not equipped with a mirror though.

Here's one of the simple looks I made with the shades included in this palette.

It's so simple yet sophisticated, am i right? Haha!

These shades are pigmented although the matte ones are not as bold as the shimmery ones. The matte ones from my other palettes like the one from Lorac Pro has better payoff, but this one is still pretty good. The eyeshadows are really silky and not very powdery. Blending them together is pretty easy. With the right eye shadow primer, you can create different looks that can enhance your eyes the whole day.

I really like this palette and it's one of my favorite ones to use when I go to the office.
