PAC Matte Lipstick in Alluring Red

Hey loves!

Been very busy traveling for the past two weeks. I'm currently in New Jersey, USA and I'm excited to share with you the places I've been to and the new products I've bought here. But I'll get to that after I'm back in Manila. For now, I'll share with you a swatch post first.

I'll be sharing with you my very first PAC Matte Lipstick.

Each lipstick is worth Php 599.00. But I got this as a gift from the brand.

The shade I got is Alluring Red.

I'm happy I got this shade because I'm such a big fan of matte reds!

Just look how beautiful the color is! It's such a rich shade of red. :D

Beautiful, right?

It's a little creamy compared to my favorite matte red lipsticks from MAC. It's not a bad thing, it actually makes the application easier. It's not very drying either so I'm really loving this lipstick. I can finally give my Ruby Woo and Russian Red some rest since I got this. :D

Press Release: PAC 2014 Contemporary Makeup Competition

Hey dolls!

On May 27, PAC will be holding their 2014 Contemporary Makeup Competition at the World Trade Center during the Cosmetologie 2014 event. 

Here's the press release so you can know more about this exciting event:

PAC is set to create a bigger impact in this year’s make-up competition with the support of PICA and Cosmetologie 2014, choosing only the best make-up artists to represent the Philippines in the International Make Up Competition, to be held in Jakarta Indonesia this October 2014. 

The competition is open to all make-up artists without brand affiliation, ages 18 and above. Interested make-up artists must submit a completed application form, full page A4 photo of a bridal and avant garde look with a short description of the theme, inspiration and medium used, sealed in a brown envelope. Application forms are available in all PAC outlets nationwide* and on Facebook.com/PACPhilippines. Entries may be sent personally or couriered to the PAC Head Office located at the ground floor of TAO Corporate Center 2291 Chino Roces Extension, Makati City. Entries may also be dropped off in any PAC outlet in Metro Manila*. Photos submitted must not be edited, tampered with or photoshopped. 

Deadline of entries is on May 15, 2014. Announcement of 20 qualifiers will be posted on May 18, 2014 through an online announcement. 

Qualifiers will be invited to attend an exclusive make up training and workshop on May 26, 2014 with Yuan Sng, an internationally renowned make-up artist from Singapore and a guest judge on Asia’s Next Top Model. 

 The 20 qualifiers will battle it out on May 27, 2014 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City, wherein only three (3) will be chosen to be part of the PAC Philippine Team. The 3 winners will be awarded an all-expense paid trip to Jakarta, Indonesia and will compete against top make-up artists in the region. 

In addition to the excitement of the competition, PAC is also proud to confirm the attendance of international make-up artist and guest judge of Asia’s Next Top Model, YUAN SNG. Yuan is scheduled to hold a workshop to all Cosmetologie 2014 attendees on avant garde make-up application, using PAC Cosmetics. He is also one of the judges for the PAC competition, happening on the same day. 

Three (3) Winners will get P25,000 worth of products from PAC and an all-expense paid trip to Jakarta, Indonesia on October 2014 to represent the Philippines in the Asian Regional Make-Up Competition against countries like Japan, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia and more.

PAC Powder Eyeshadow in No 09

Hello dears!

Vibrant blue eyeshadows are probably something some people are afraid to use. I guess I would have to agree that it can be quite difficult to wear. It looks waaaay too unnatural and you'll have to find the right blue shade for your skin tone to make it work. Plus, when it smudges, it doesn't look good at all.

So when I attended a blogger makeup workshop by PAC Cosmetics, I received a blue powder eyeshadow.

At first I wasn't really excited by it. I don't wear blue shadows that much and I'm not really a big fan of the color.

And loose powder eyeshadows are quite messy to use.

But once I swatched it, I was so amazed on how pigmented it is.

The shimmer is beautiful as well. It reminds me of the Blue Fairy in the Pinocchio story. :P

It's already pigmented on its own but it can be much bolder with primer.

Here are photos of my eye makeup using this eyeshadow:

I just added some dark grey eyeshadows to add depth.

This shadow doesn't crease given I have primer on. I have oily lids so on its own, I still encounter some minor creasing on the corners of my lids.

PAC's New Liquid Eyeliners and an Exclusive Blogger Makeup Workshop

Hi loves!

I went to an Exclusive Blogger Makeup Workshop by PAC (Professional Artist Cosmetics) Martha Tilaar last Friday held at Vanity Beauty Bar and Patisserie, Il Terazzo, QC.

The event is all about their newest products,

 PAC LIQUID EYELINER COLORS

I was actually late for about an hour. Boooo me. I came from work and there was heavy traffic especially when it started to rain so hard.

I was excited that it will be held at Vanity Beauty Bar and Patisserie since this place does 2 of my favorite services—getting prettified and sweets!

The interior of the place is very lush and cozy. It's Victorian themed which I love! I'm sure you'll feel like you're someone very important, like a queen, if you get to be pampered in a place like this.

I loved looking at the pictures on the walls.

And let's not forget the pastries!!

They also serve drinks like juice, coffee and tea.

And look! They serve TWG Tea!!! :3

Here's the drink I had during the event:

It's blue Iced Tea! Weird but it's surprisingly yummy!

Let's go to the main event!

There were tutorials and games (which I wasn't able to see since I was late. Hmph!). I got there during the time that the participants in the game were almost done with their masterpieces. So while I wait, I took these pictures of the products from PAC that I absolutely wish I have on my stash! Haha!

I wish I took the whole traincase home. LOL
