NOTD : OMG Cracked Nail Polish in Amethyst

 Hey loves!

It's the start of a busy days for me. Since I got home late today, I'll just have to leave a quick NOTD post for all of you.

I bought a number of cracked polishes that's why I decided to use one of them a few days ago.

OMG Cracked Nail Polish in Amethyst

Here are the polishes I used:

I used this as my base :

Topped it off with the OMG Cracked Nail Polish in Amethyst,

and when it starts to crack and dries, I coat it with a clear polish.

A quick and easy way to make your nails looking artsy!

I'm glad that even if I don't use much my OMG Cracked polishes, they don't dry too soon. And for its price, it's a super great deal!

So anyway, back to the stuff that I have to do...
Oh well. Hope you guys are having fun!

Cheers!

Klik Cracked Nail Polishes

Hey girls!

For the past year, the crackling polish has been quite popular. I started buying some to try them out. Some can be quite expensive and I find those who are around Php60 a good buy already.

Some months ago, I saw some bloggers posting about this OMG Cracked polish they bought from Landmark. These polishes apparently are very, VERY affordable and work well. I don't usually go to Trinoma nor in Makati where I get to visit Landmark and if I do, I don't check out the nail care area because I'm trying not to fill-up my already full toolbox of nail polishes.

But finally! I bought some of these polishes. 3 of them. All from Klik!! And indeed, they are super affordable! I bought a bronze, purple and pink colors.

The OMG ones are only Php34.75
while the little one is Php24.75.

I managed to take snap shots of what they look like when applied.

That's my hand. I used a white base coat.

*Liz used this. She used a nude base coat here. :P

and lastly,

Klik Cracked Nail Polish in Pink

I find the red and pink crackling polish a good combination.

So that's all three! In fairness, they really work well compared to some crackling polishes I've tried. And they are soooo affordable!!! Yes, I can't stop saying that! :))

So if you love crackling polishes, or haven't tried yet and want to, go check these from Klik! :)

NOTD: Crackling Blue

 Hello dears!

I was planning to write a review on a product today but I'm super tired. Been walking around all day and the only thing I was able to eat was a piece of fried oreo and a glass of water. I felt so weak and sleepy when I got back home.
Also, I still have to edit some stuff for my thesis.
So today, I'll just share with you an NOTD.

I've had this for around 4 days now. Still in good condition! :)
(Sorry for my dry hands. I've been using a lot of chemicals such as oil thinner when I do my oil paintings)

So here are the polishes I used:

Etude House Nail Polish in White (WH702)

Nail Up Environmental Crackling Polish in B861

I then coated it with a Sally Hansen clear polish. :)

Anyway, I'm quite surprise that my followers are almost at 400 now! And I was even thinking of doing a 400 follower giveaway. But I'm too busy right now to host another one. Especially since I also have one on-going. Maybe on my 450th? :P

NOTD and an Announcement!

 Hey loves!

Remember those Php45.00 worth of Crackling Nail Polishes I bought from the The Fort Bazaar?
Well, I finally tried one of them out to see how well they work.

The product is very cheap and it's unbranded so I'm not expecting a super gorgeous finish (I'm hopeful though). I chose to use the sparkly purple one. :P

Here are all the products used for the NOTD.

I first applied the white polish from Etude.
And as you can see, I'm still sloppy with applying polishes.

And then applied the crackling polish. Wait for it to 'crack'
Then finish off with the clear polish!

And voila!
Cracked nail polish! The color is sort of a soft Lilac.
The product was thicker than my more expensive crackling polish that was given to me. But it still worked anyway. :P

And about the announcement...

Peachy Pink Sisters

would like to show our appreciation to our readers

by having this...

That's right!
We will be hosting our first giveaway for the year 2012!

Yayyyy!

Curious to know what you can win from this giveaway?
Well, you'll just have to wait for a while...

More info about the giveaway and the prizes this weekend, Saturday!

I do hope you can check it out and of course,
JOIN!

My First Take on Crackling Nail Polish

I know that crackling nail polish has been popular for quite a long time now.
And I've always wanted to get my hands on them since the first time I saw them.
Unfortunately, I didn't know where to buy them, besides ordering online... or I find them too expensive for my budget. Haha!

So this Christmas, I put 'Crackling Nail Polish' in my wishlist during our exchange gift with my college barkada.

And I finally got some! Yayyy!

2 Nail Up Environmental Polish!
Thanks, Abby! :D

So last Sunday, I tried it out. I used the red one because it's Christmas!

I used my Elianto Nail Color in No.26 for my base and Caronia Colorless Nail Polish.

I really had no idea how to use this before. I even applied it without any base color and I was like, why did it turn out like this?? Haha! I'm such a dork!
So I researched on how to apply it and finally I got it right!
I documented the process so here's what happened:

I applied the base coat first. Yeah, I'm quite messy when I put nail polish.

 Bluuuurrrrred picture. Sorry!
And then apply an appropriate amount of the crackling polish.

After that you wait a few seconds... you can also blow on your nails to speed up the process... Well, I did... :p

This is what it looked like after a minute or so.
I took a picture of a different nail... I don't know what I was thinking that time. LOL

Then I topped it with the colorless nail polish.

And here's the result! :)

Yayyyy! :D :D :D

I'm really happy with what it looks like that I bought some more crackling nail polishes in The Fort Bazaar last Monday. These ones are cheaper for Php45.00 each.

I'm excited to try these out as well!
I'll let you know how it turns out when I do! :)
